Build a semi decent base with 89 constructs inside. Not bragging but simply pointing out that this mode is not as tedious as I and several others thought. The more I play it, the more it grows on me. But it has an awfully slow start requiring multiple playthroughs to get to a state where the fun can truly begin. When your base has taken some shape, when you start clearing past day 5, 8, 12, etc... And while I was on the fence about the mode since the first day; I can honestly say: This mode is fun BUT: It needs to refund constructs when building in base so that you can experiment with different base layouts more quickly. Not every enemy can be pushed but it would be fun for all the trash mobs. (Exploding spiders) It gets incredibly laggy AF when multiple waves arrive on the same day for a raid. This nearly cost me my run while playing on a PC well above minimum specs for the game. Not sure how to fix this... The tutorial is not helpful at all. Very well said, I agree with everything. For me, the mode started out very slow but I can see their vision, I just wish the tutorial was a LOT better without forced handholding, as it's a huge detriment for a lot of players. I have some friends that have been struggling a lot to understand the mode in the short amount of time they play per day/week, its definitely not meant for them even for a mode that lasts 30 days; it should've been a permanent addition with future content updates like IS
I think the reason they don't refund constructs is because this would let you start and kill a few runs just to use your base as storage for the constructs that turn nodes into Sentries/Outposts. You could just place a bunch of these in your Oasis by resetting runs multiple times then have a ton to abuse during a real run.

Also, there is an upgrade in the tree that reveals a random extra node or two at the start of each run. Turning these extra nodes into sentries can allow you to quickly travers to further nodes. Basically, your goal is just to amass resources and explore. You don't really have a direction or destination to go inparticular. Same. Tried it 2-3 times but still don't know what's happening. Something about gathering resources, getting points after finishing and getting rewards.

well, you can unlock the 8 surrounding tiles range by unlocking one of the final upgrades. you can even unlock it faster by buliding 2 monitoring tower II and place it into a map (both towers have to be still standing while the timer runs out) it also reveals 2 node range around the node you placed the tower in, so one good strategy is to carry at least 4 such towers between runs, so you get fast scouting in early game asap.
Its basically same as red s2, kafka and phantom. It affect the surrounding tile but its not a range expansion. The one you seeing now is a node upgrade.
There is a construct called a transregional communication station. Building this in your base allows you to carry a number of items with you after surviving either 9 or 6 days (depending on station level). This can also be done by finding an "escape" tile in a conflict zone, but finding this is quite difficult and thus unreliable. It's better to get the station and upgrade its storage through the Road of Prosperity upgrade tree.
In Base? They are permanent and wont go away until they are destroyed by the enemies. Or when he started the run with a couple of constructs? You can get them if you build the Escape thing-a-ma-jig construct at the bottom right corner of your menu. Is that if you reach day 9 for tier 1 (day 6 if tier 2) then you can bring around 6-7 constructs, buffs, and etc. that you made or got from drops to the next run you make.
It even faster to clear than IS. You don't need to complete a full run like IS to get the points. So to build a structure in your base, just mine enough, place on your base, quit, rinse and repeat.
There's a certain node in the tree talent or whatever it's called where you can reveal enemy in a 3 by 3 tile with specialists (don't know about others though), it's around the end part of the tree if I'm not mistaken Edit: just fixing some errors

Does that effect carry over to other runs? If not, what am I supposed to do to have a clear direction of where to go? I'm really lost
@@eddiecarlosloredosilva4409 The effect does not carry over, but you can carry over excess constructs via the transcontinental communication station. It's a base building that lets you send items to your next run after a specified number of days. You can use this to carry over recon constructs to increase your vision quickly on new runs. Also, there is an upgrade in the tree that reveals a random extra node or two at the start of each run. Turning these extra nodes into sentries can allow you to quickly travers to further nodes.
Basically, your goal is just to amass resources and explore. You don't really have a direction or destination to go inparticular. Try to build a base strong enough that will allow you to survive bosses and the real nasty waves. Also, be on the lookout for Mountain Pass and No Mans Land nodes. the former has a totem you can destroy for lots of loot. The later has a boss you can kill for lots of loot.
Bruh how to unlock different defences for base
Info in game are so few, that i barely know what to do except gathering wood and food
you need 1 construct of tier 1 to unlock tier 2
(place tier 1 in the base then it will unlock)

i'm so clueless about this event😢
Same. Tried it 2-3 times but still don't know what's happening. Something about gathering resources, getting points after finishing and getting rewards.

Just get reso and build Ur base facilities, repeat til you can survive 15 days aka the ending

@@haroharoid Ok, I have 1 question. What is the easiest stage to get wood? I tried few and its hard to know where wood is if everything is uncovered.
Im honestly just so confused about this mode, like I dont get it, like at all lmfao
It's like Command and Conquer or other RTS games. Except you can take two actions each day.
Your actions are turn based, except during actual combat. So you collect resources, build, and fight.

This stage really forced you to maxed out some spesific operator.
texas alter particularly, it's compulsory that you bring her to hunting sector. most of the time you can clear all animals in one run. surtr seconds as if you are hunting hunting strong crabs and leg meat.
@@711jastin more like you only need texalter. You will get a node upgrade where your operators will have vision 8 tiles around them.
@@GranMaj that one is also important for S3. texas alter is good but sometimes struggle with stronger foes, surtr can handle those threats as an addition. actually anyone with high enough dps and is a heli drop could work, i haven't tried hellagur, maybe he works as well?
@@711jastin Hellagur is way too situational. He is unusable in certain weather, and some enemy just kills him unless you buff him with high lvl foods. I don't have Surtr and that's shown by how poorly I can defend my base from slightly stronger waves.

why my texas s3 can't reveal 8 surrounding tiles like you do? im malding over that fact
edit: is it some kind of upgrade?
Yes one of the upgrade in the node tree that requires spending 300 points
@@lightblitz7554You can get it for free by placing two monitoring tower II in two different stages during the same run.
@@lightblitz7554 No, you don't actually need 300 points, because it's a "research" upgrade instead of a regular upgrade
You need to turn 2 maps into "Scout Zones" by building 2 level-2 Recon towers in them.
As soon as you get the upgrade that starts you with Iron, it's pretty easy to get
@@NikkiTheViolist ahhhh my bad I remembered wrong
@@NikkiTheViolist tysm i will get that upgrade
soo... why my texas only reveals her front tile in s3?
you need an upgrade for operators to reveal 3x3 tiles, without it it is just their attack range (skills that increase range will also increase vision range)
Oh I got it, expensive upgrades
@@lucasbotelho9425 yea, the upgrade is literally at the end. You need to have spent like 300 upgrade points then another 50 to get the 3x3 vision upgrade
I'm so glad this event will be gone in few days....and I feel dizzy like Univ exam
i see you often dropping a collector even if there is only one rock/iron ore there.
is it worth it? is that something we should always do?
you can buy wood from the black market. right. 10 crude gold per 5 wood.
you can turn iron into crude gold, with a mint 3. 1 piece of iron 1 water = 12? crude gold, probably 14 gold with the mint 3, I just got the mint 2..
so....assuming tier 1 collector for 6 wood. and 1 water = 1 wood. you are paying 7 wood for 1 iron. 7 wood = 14 gold. eh. its break even. at 1 iron.
has anyone noticed in global that texalter s3 range is kinda bugged? It doesn't reveal enemies
Wait now that you've mentioned, you're right. She only reveal enemies 1 tile ahead of her.
its not a bug its one of upgrades you can buy/unlock
unlock it from where ?
@@mudrockisqueen
well, you can unlock the 8 surrounding tiles range by unlocking one of the final upgrades. you can even unlock it faster by buliding 2 monitoring tower II and place it into a map (both towers have to be still standing while the timer runs out)
it also reveals 2 node range around the node you placed the tower in, so one good strategy is to carry at least 4 such towers between runs, so you get fast scouting in early game asap.
Its basically same as red s2, kafka and phantom. It affect the surrounding tile but its not a range expansion.
The one you seeing now is a node upgrade.
생존연산 해야하는데...
I think that 1 minute 🤣
How did he start with the collectors
Some research like at is2 and 3 that gib more dice etc but at this mode that would be resources and recipe
I have a doubt tho, how did you manage to get previous constructs for this run
@@duanedael1514 Every time I try escaping it just says I can't carry stuff over. I don't get it...
9999 gold what !!!!!!!
Is this event even worth playing?
Its like Is mode i love the new mode
what do you think about Integrated Strategy? pretty same thing, just more features/steps
The rewards are alright, but it does take an unhealthy amount of time to get them all.
It even faster to clear than IS.
You don't need to complete a full run like IS to get the points.
So to build a structure in your base, just mine enough, place on your base, quit, rinse and repeat.
Oh, wow…. Too much brain…
WTF?! WHY DOES YOUR TEXAS REVEAL A 3x3 WHEN MINE ONLY DOES THE ONE IN FRONT EVEN WHEN I USE S3??!!
There's a certain node in the tree talent or whatever it's called where you can reveal enemy in a 3 by 3 tile with specialists (don't know about others though), it's around the end part of the tree if I'm not mistaken
Edit: just fixing some errors
