After 29 years of marriage, I think of my wife every day like this, she has always been my backbone, my rock through the good and bad times. You don't have to be blind for this song to be true. So many people would tell me how beautiful you are and what a lucky man I am but like so many others I always took that for granted never realizing just how lucky I was until I heard this song years ago, now I want the world to really see how beautiful you are and what a very very lucky man I am to call you my wife and my best friend.

Wow! I forgot about my comment on this video until your reply, so thank you for that! I am happy to report that, YES, God answered my lifelong prayer! I met him less than two months after I saw this video! And I must say, my HUSBAND is better than anything I ever dreamed of or prayed for. I am thankful that God knows the desires of my heart better than even I do.

Anytime Gordon plays for someone else's song or when he is performing for a melody of his own, I am left almost speechless. I am fortunate enough to be able to attend the Gaither Family Fest in Gatlinburg, TN every year and Gordon is always there, bringing his devotion to praising God. I'm not downing any of the other artists, because the 3 day event brings in these beautiful voices from all over America, but there's just something special about Gordon. He will tell you flat out, that he doesn't have a "disability", but rather a special "ability". God has blessed Gordon and Gordon in turn, blesses everyone who bears witness to his faith and love. Yes, he leaves this old Marine in tears.
Something about a 66 year old, and kind of seasoned fellow tearing up... I suppose deeply heartfelt love songs can do that, and more. Hallelujah Gordon.

I know how you feel. Me and my wife has been together 29 years been married 25 years and have 3 beautiful and wonderful children and 1 amazing granddaughter. My wife and I have been through many good and bad times and this song is so powerful bc if the world could see what I see. I had my wife listen to this song and i told her this is how i feel shes an amazing mother, wife and my best friend. I'm the same way I can't wait to hear her voice when she calls me everyday bo matter how my day is going just hearing her voice puts me at ease knowing I've got my best furby my side no matter the situation.
