Try changing server region (ping) under options menu (EA account) and matchmake again. Used to do this to find matches on BF 2015, idk if it'll work for BF 2017 but it's worth a try. North American or European servers are most likely to be active.

Nah, they stopped updating it a couple years ago. No new updates or content anymore but they still run community events on special dates like May 4th.
