This is being spoken from an awakened perspective. The elders I knew were honest people who thought they were doing gods work. They are still inbthe Matrix, and taking the red pill is a VERY hard thing to do with steep consequences.

Exactly. And I don't think some of them realize it. When I was new in, I didn't realize it and speaking to others, one described it as finding out that your mother isn't your mother. The con they do is so shocking you never really get over it. But you learn a lesson.

I was in until May of 2021 that was the first time in 25 years that I did not report any field service time. I was a long time MS but over time I like Brother 50 percent realized the artful manipulation in so many ways. I have never been so manipulated about so many situations even when it came to hiding out child molester s and they do it so well. I decided to cut myself completely from this organization. I realized over the past few months that I only had one friend over a 25-year period in the organization. He is a elder and he too has been in the truth for all of his life and he is in his 50s. But for the first time he told me that he could not understand how a man that was accused of child molestation could ever be an elder again. But not only is this man an elder himself he has lived a life of lying and denying to the point of becoming a circuit overseer and the poor victims or just thrown to the curb. The messenger got all the blame and were treated harshly. When you see manipulation on this scale of hypocrisy it is time to leave it is not time to give them more fuel to run their their printing presses. However my wife is currently still attending. That's okay with me because she too will have to face the reality that religion is a snare and a racket., This was in watchtowers on words and this was something that they were right on about. Somewhere along the line probably with Nathan knorr things changed and instead of becoming a movement it became a religion. I will stick to reading my Bible and the time that I used to spend trying to convince others of things that I truly did not understand myself I am now spending doing my own research. Prayer and meditation is still a big part of my life. But I enjoy the freedom of movement which I haven't had in 25 years. I don't regret these 25 years but the next 25 years are going to be better than the last. Emotionally, physically, and most of all spiritually.

Thankfully we have the internet these days and surprisingly JWs are allowed to use it. Fortunately some are finding the truth about the truth because of it.
The GB have been tightening the screw on the brothers and sisters for some time. But as you say, now we have the internet. This could not have happened in the past. It makes me think of that scripture which says, 'along with the test he makes the way out.' I think the scripture may be 1 Corinthians 10:13.
Jesus Christ is THE TRUTH. Not any organization.
@CrookedTeeth Yes - they have had so many chance to reform and don't even express any contrition. And when they throw Christians out of the Organisation, well, what did Jesus say? You'd tell them by their ACTIONS.

this was a big thing for me. how can you be PRESENT if you have not yet returned? how can you be coming if you are already present?
kevin McFree I believe this is possible. If we consider a hike or walk and a person falls down a steep hill or in to a place hard to reach, a person with them would already be present but call out - i'm coming to get you. Similarly our Lord although being present comes in the sense to take further action.
@red ridinghood As worded above i believe "a person with them would already be present but call out - i'm coming to get you". Obviously in this illustration the hiker not fallen down didn't leave so would have no need to return. The point is both hikers would have been in the same place and one saying "coming to get you" means to take action. Also, it is not unusual (maybe a Caribbean thing) if you have not understood what somebody was speaking to you, to say "come again". The person is present and you are engaged in conversation but you use the term to ask for repetition of what was said. The point is "come again or "coming to get you" does not mean the person is not already present - they obviously are.
@red ridinghood I agree with Math 28:20 Our Lord has always been with his followers down through the ages, just as he said. He is with them via the helper holy spirit. He has not been with his followers down through ages as king of the kingdom. He has only been with his followers in last days in his kingly role ie he was already present but came as promised king. I believe holy spirit to be a singular term for the collective ie angels. Rev 7:1-3 shows this holy spirit active over mankind before the final judgement comes. The work of sealing is one aspect of the last days. This happens because it is the invisible presence of our Lord. Rev 1:12-17
@red ridinghood I believe elementary truth was made known in 19th century and it has not disappeared since then, albeit for the most part contained in WT. This is why WT and not the rest of Christendom will reap the judgement. Christ has been invisibly present since 19th century.

I followed Jesus' example (as best I could) by applying the scriptures to them. The God's words in the Bible, properly used are powerful. Watchtower knows this therefore they mess with the meaning of words. They are very crafty.

There's no such thing as "new light" or old light! It's either light ( TRUTH/ Jesus Christ HIMSELF) or darkness.. (lack of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ). You're either in THE TRUTH. Which isn't an organization but is actually Jesus.. or you're in darkness.

Hi John - their teaching is baffling. When I had to do this talk, I was struck by the fact that the last days must have started with the Napoleonic Wars not World War I. Then I realised they were covertly saying Armageddon did happen in 1914. I was never taught any of this, so it only hit me in 2005. Also, I didn't put it in the video but this elder told me that they used to give talks saying Armageddon was like a Polo Mint. It had a hole in it. It started, then it stopped. He said they don't give those talks any more. Not surprised.

Then they did predict Armageddon in 1914, then before the "new light", they said Jesus returned, but he was INVISIBLE.
That way they were not wrong.

@@johnw5584Yes they were expecting Armageddon in 1914. Because they thought Armageddon had happened (sort of) Joseph Rutherford then went on to boldly predict people would be resurrected. Many were disappointed by this. One sister told me of a convention she attended where they were all expecting to see King David, Noah, Abraham etc appear on the platform. They had been told they could expect to see the Princes of the Earth. Instead, all the elders were told to stand up and the speaker said, "see the Princes of the Earth." This sister said, everyone was so disappointed you could hear a pin drop.

Cars for the princes to use upon there return...of course he used them in the meantime! 😁

Declaration on termination of membership to a religious community of Jehovah's Witnesses
I was baptized in 1977 at the age of 17, then a minor. But, in good faith I answered the following two questions just before baptism, which is symbolized my dedication to God in terms of the beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses religion.
At that time (before the change of June 1 1985) questions have read as follows;
A) Have you repented of your sins and converted, recognizing yourself before Jehovah God as a condemned sinner who needs salvation, and have you acknowledged to him that this salvation proceeds from him, the Father, through his Son Jesus Christ?
B) On the basis of this faith in God and in his provision for salvation, have you dedicated yourself unreservedly to God to do his will henceforth as he reveals it to you through Jesus Christ and through the Bible under the enlightening power of the holy spirit?
Since I have over decades closely followed the changes in various aspects of activity of this religion, I noticed some frequent collisions (1 John 4:1; 1 Th 5:21). It is visible in: a) the content of the various interpretations; b) in the theory and practice of action in everyday life issues. Overview of many historical aspects of the spiritual heritage, which the organization has, since its inception in the 19th century, left to its members-followers, and wants to cover it up, revise and incorrect display, is astounding. Who wants to drink a water from a cup in which there is a single drop of dangerous substances?
The purpose of my statement is not to explain doctrine and practices of society and the board of directors, who are disturbed my conscience and reasoning within the love, faith, knowledge and understanding that I feel and I have to God and Jesus Christ and to the people, so I will taxatively single out only a few of them (Rom 14:4). These are obvious example, on the one hand, theological acrobatics from the main church body of Jehovah's Witnesses, and on the other hand, their dishonesty and practice in which one they are learns, and other they are works;
1) Confusing conceptions about their own identity (Who shared spiritual food? One servant, all 144 000, a composite body or the governing body ...,)
2) Pragmatism in changing dogmatic interpretations before the change was "firmly biblical established", such as a series of explanations about the "generation" ...,
3) Speculation about the meaning of biblical statements and how they should be understood. More than once the revised interpretation were in style of YES-NO-YES-NO; then this year's "changed approach to the interpretation of reports from the Word of God" ...,
4) Switching of responsibility from the governing body and their representatives on the ordinary believers in respect of the decisions and attitudes that members should be carried out, when it becomes apparent that they were endangered spiritually, mentally and literally health of fellow believers (eg, multiple expectations of Armageddon, Malawi and Mexico of the 1970's, questions about blood, juvenile members / Bulgaria /, neutrality ...,)
5) Co-operation and association with political organizations such as the UN and the OSCE.
6) Increasingly open calls for financial donations and contributions to the funds of the corporation.
7) Careless and unkind treatment of victims of pedophilia within the congregations of Jehovah's Witnesses
Regardless of how, as collective or personal, members of the Jehovah's Witnesses will treat me after this letter of resignation, considering the worldwide-known practice of ignoring and avoiding (shunning) that Jehovah's Witnesses apply to all who are outside of their religion ("worldly" people, dissociated and disfellowshipped) - I with fully conscious and reason declare still this; My relationship with the people / persons in the Jehovah's Witness religion and those who are not, is based on the words of Jesus; "Love your neighbor as yourself"; "Love those who hate you"; "Whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them."
I expecting from you, that any kind of information which is stored anywhere, in connection with me and has my full name, such as personal files, or any other files you immediately destroy!

The Watchtower certainly does not want faithful Christians comparing and contrasting notes on how and why they were thrown out, or chose to leave this apostate organisation. Christians should be united in a spirit of love. The Watchtower communications industry put out articles and talks condemning those that cause divisions amongst Christians. Yet, they themselves are the ones that cause such divisions.
When I stood before those 5 elders, because I was just sticking to the words of the prophet Daniel, I knew there was little if anything they could do against me because the prophet Daniel spoke with the authority of Jehovah.
At one point, one of the elders was so lost for words before me, he spoke complete nonsense for about a minute. It was real nonsense, like babble.
It makes you wonder why that elder does all that building work for watchtower....sigh. His anger was his cognitive dissonance kicking in....he couldn’t cope. Brilliant video, by the way;)
This is all bunk anyhow, Jesus warned about going after people who said his return is hidden, or invisible. coming, presence and return cannot be gymnastically word twisted.
I know and during my study I would question matters in that way. Therefore I was never taught this teaching. The one who took me in my study would say things to me like, "I don't agree with the things you say, then I think about them and realize you were right."
Even elders who would come and sit in on my study, never taught me this teaching. One of the elders was the one who said 50% is rubbish. When I questioned the elders closely, I would get nebulous answers. Basically it came down to, if the GB has anything wrong they will change. Well that implies they'd change a wrong teaching for a right one as soon as they'd realized they had made a mistake. But that's not what the elders meant. They meant, they'll change the doctrine if they have to but if you spot a mistake and point it out to them they'll ignore you and the mistake.
If Jesus has returned, why do witnesses still observe the Lord's Evening Meal??? The Apostle Paul says in his first letter to the Corinthians "For by eating this bread and drinking this cup, you proclaim the Lords death until he comes. (1 Corinthians chapter 11 verse 26).
The Christ is and always has been PRESENT, so there is no need for his return. Now to me this is whats logical
Wow!!! That's an eye opener. I used to go along to the meetings. I used to study but never got baptized. I never went as far as door knocking and the trolleying. So really, we're were getting 2 hours of rubbish talk weekly and weekends at Kingdom halls.
Yup and this elder was willing to prepare the talks, and knew when he gave them that, in part he was talking rubbish. He was knowingly misleading people.

Wanted to say also that it's interesting you use the illustration of waiting for visitors to arrive. I too although never having heard it used before, recently thought about using the same idea...I may well bring it out some point in my revelation series.

Jw Inc really loves their GB members. One time I confronted my mother asking her If she had to choose between following Jesus or following the GB what would she choose. Hands down GB.
I asked an elder if he thought Jesus was apostate because Jesus stuck to the words of the prophet Daniel. He was going to say 'yes' but the words stuck in his throat and he kind of gagged. Eventually he said, 'no of course not.'
But another elder, said to me that the prophet Daniel was not a channel Jehovah was using today. I just looked at him and eventually he mumbled himself away from his stupid comment.

After baptism if you ask a question you are questioning the governing body and that becomes a disfellowshipping offense! I too served as an elder in many capacities, and yet I didn’t believe a lot of their hogwash. The year 1975 was but one of their many false predictions. “This generation will not pass away….”
1914 was a total joke perpetrated on the gullible JW’s. After a fifty year stint in this cult, I managed to escape with my sanity!
You are so right. And there's one born every minute - that was me. I joined in 1992. I had NO IDEA how crafty they were. And no idea about 1975. Have to say I was in a very nice congregation (or it appeared to me to be nice). It was one people came to when they were escaping bad treatment in other congregations. Then a CO came along and took apart that particular body of elders and gradually that nice congregation became unrecognisable. Also, others who were kind, died (sad and disappointed). So glad you escaped with your sanity. It cannot have been easy for you.

Thank you for replying. I started studying in 1962 and was baptized at 15 years of age. I consider myself to be pretty intelligent with a high IQ, but because of not doing the homework first I was suckered in with my parents and sister. Back then we didn’t have the internet to do the research, so everything sounded believable. I became a PIMO before the acronym was even invented. I stepped down from being an elder, but the body continued their meeting and questioning me why I had made this decision. Secretary in my heart of hearts I began to realize what a mistake I made. We as a family were talked about at the meetings behind our backs. Finally after enough of their false teachings and accusations we made the decision to leave as a family. Fifty plus years of my life down the drain that was wasted serving a ever changing cult! Anna, are you making any new videos regarding this cult?
@@superdave1921 You had 50 years of high quality training how cults work and why Jesus Christ was so right in what he said. Some people would pay a lot of money for that training :D I might make more videos. But most of the ones I make take time to put together. So best I can say is wait and see.

So I hope in your area people begin to leave and your daughter puts her shun gun away. Certainly those that remain in are finding life even more difficult.

Thanks for the compliment - I no more intelligent than the average person but I made a careful study of the Bible before ever I was contacted. Looking back I can see that they were crafty in the way they taught me (back in 1990-92), then in 2005 (when I did the stand in talk) I saw there was this deal breaking teaching about parousia that I was NEVER taught. I had not even heard the word before! So as you can see, I raised the issue and got thrown out. Glad you enjoyed the video Judy and delighted you found the channel. I am in the process of putting together another video on 1914. It'll take a few more weeks yet to complete but am working hard on it.

It was my last talk too. And it was a stand-in talk because no one else could understand it. I could understand it - I could understand it was total twaddle. And when I put this to two elders (I was looking to them for help) they got really, really angry with me and I thought, "why are you angry with me? I am only concerned with sticking to the truth."

It wasn't the only time he took me aside and quietly said things to me. In this case I think it was because he felt guilty. I had found him out in teaching something that was wrong. He did it so fast and so suddenly, I think he saw a quick opportunity to speak to me and grabbed it.
The elders are liars! My brother is an elder and he told me something and said that if I ever told anyone he would deny it. I was in shock.
I am finding out things about the term 'double cross'. Watchtower double crosses us but the double cross is also a symbol of the Knights Templar - so maybe this is how elders climb the ladder. What is expected of them is not fidelity to Jesus Christ (honesty, loving kindness and integrity etc) but the ability to keep the status quo. That way the organization looks Christian but it isn't really. It is shocking to see the things that go on behind the scenes. Just don't let it rock your faith. Jesus does not approve of the way these men behave. I do hope they change and I am sure you do too. It must have been very upsetting to discover that your trusted brother lacks integrity.

Wonderfully expressed. That's what I came to, and it all finally made sense. One is present after they come and return. Jesus does not return twice. I discovered through extensive reading of early Russell books, that not only did the Watchtower at first publish that Jesus' "presence" began in 1874 (later changed to 1914), but the rabbit hole goes deeper. Very few know what I am about to say. In 1877, Russell co-authored a book with Nelson Barbour, titled "The Three Worlds". It foretold Jesus PHYSICAL return for 1877/1878. Before that, Russell had predicted Jesus' PHYSICAL return for 1873/1874. When that prediction failed, he said Jesus did return, but his "invisible parousia" (presence) had begun and it would be 3 1/2 years, with his physical return in 1877, the year the book was published. (talk about a bold or foolish prediction) When Jesus again did not physically return in 1877, Russell had to rethink it. He was absolutely firm on the chronology, so by the time he started the magazine "Zion's Watch Tower and Herald of Christ's Presence" in 1879, he had settled on Jesus had invisibly returned in 1874, took up kingdom rule in 1878, and after a 40 year harvest, in 1914 (at the latest) the saints would "go home". (Another fun fact is that there are multiple "returns" taught later. Jesus presence (return) in 1914, and his coming to "the temple" to inspect in 1918/1919. I knew one, a very dear lady who saw through their nonsense but stayed in all the same. She explained that at one point she attended a convention (or maybe it was an assembly) where all in attendance were expecting to see the 'princes of the earth' (Noah, David, Abraham etc) step out, resurrected, onto the platform. Sadly all were disappointed. But, they got over it and started to view the elders as the 'princes of the earth'.

Most don't know, for example, that the idea that the congregation elders are the 'stars in Jesus' right hand' of Revelation, started out as Rutherford saying the single Society appointed overseer of each congregation was the "star". Rutherford twisted just about every verse in the Bible to apply to the Society under his tyranny.

I have been told they are dropping references to 1914 so that newly interested ones or children growing up wont know about the doctrine. The doctrine will still be there but few will ask the question, 'by what authority do you claim to be Jehovah's Witnesses / Christian'. But as you say, they adjust things. Therefore, I am sure they will come up with well-constructed, twisted reasoning that's impossible to make any sense of if congregation members decide to ask.
I used to belong to the Knox Indiana congregation there are no longer in existence due to child molestation from two brothers that were twins that molested a lot of the boys there and a couple of the girls and from the last time I heard all the elders have walked away from the organization because the governing body was trying to cover it up
Sounds like the elders behaved wisely by walking away from the organisation. If only more elders would take action and do the right thing.
I knew two elders who bravely opposed the body of elders over a child abuse issue but they remained in the organisation, even though both of them had to leave the area where they were living.
One of them is dead now, the other stays in because he thinks the 1914 doctrine is correct.

Hi Anna, l really appreciate how you stood up to them and you know your bible and do your research which is what we are supposed to do. I was raised in the organization and baptized in 1988. I am a ministerial servant and always wondered why I feel and others in the "world" always told me that I'm 'different " and I don't act like a Jehovah's witness. Maybe that's why I have never been appointed as an elder because I don't just follow the company line so to speak. One of the things that has been bothering me is the beard issue. There is no scriptural grounds for not wearing one and Jesus our Exemplar wore one. I know the roots of it going back to Russell and Rutherford and it just goes to show the "controlling nature of the GB. Last year l actually had some dreams where in the first dream l was sitting in the congregation during a meeting and it seemed like about 1/3 of the congregation got up abruptly and walked out. I was sitting there shocked! Another dream I had about a week later was the same scenario being in the congregation meeting but this time I was the only one who got up and walked out! The dreams felt realer than any other dreams I've had but I didn't understand them at the time. I have been praying to Jehovah to help me "see" and the dreams finally make sense. I want to make a move and get out but it's hard cause I am thinking about all the other "sheep " that are being misguided there. I'm trying to figure out the best way to get out without causing too much attention and drama but l don't know if that's possible. I can literally write a book about my encounters over the years dealing with this organization and I might later but maybe l can stay in contact with you if you have an email address or phone number cause I wanted to talk to you more. I know - there were so many things in my study that I questioned and they were fine with such questions when I studied. Brothers and sisters would say that not everyone who was a JW was necessarily a JW and non-JWs might be more faithful. It was up to Jehovah to decide. So I never felt I had to go along with ALL their teachings. But since 2006 the screws have tightened.

@@briandykeman4056 I have been told my congregation was unusual. But I would not have come in if questioning was not allowed. For some years my ex-cong was the refuge to which others ran when they were being bullied elsewhere. Our cong was very happy, then a CO came along and removed some of our kind elders. It gradually went downhill after that and filled up with the kind of bullies who don't allow questioning. Ie non-Christians who attempt to lord it over you.
I think in the end we may all be perhaps a little bit off about our impression of God. But I do respect some jw doctrine as I also respect others doctrine. One day il Will be over this system till then we run that race

I studied the Bible long before I was contacted circa 1990. I knew it well but was unsure about some bits of the Old Testament. When I was studying I taught the person I was studying with one or two things and she thanked me. I thought nothing of it but maybe that's why two elders started getting involved in my study. I'm not sure. Anyway I studied their teachings very carefully didn't feel I had to agree with everything. Especially as the elders said the Society was just doing the best it could and when they had something wrong they'd change it.
A lot of their teachings were very compelling and their standards appeared good too. Little did I know what went on behind the scenes. But I was in a very nice congregation. Our congregation proved to be a refuge for many, until kind ones died off or were sent to other congregations.
My view of God's Spirit Directed Organization was that it was the Body of Christ because a body is made up of organs. It is organized. Not for one minute did I imagine it meant the GB who I had been told were prone to error and were just doing their best.

It's a funny thing that a man claims to dispense Gods will on earth. But once you have done it you have set yourself an incredibly high bar. Being just a man I cringe at some of the stupid things I have done and said. I have also had moments of inspiration where I was able to see things so clearly and speak with power and clarity. Personally, I think everyone should be teachers and no one should be teacher. God can speak through anyone he chooses at any given moment of time, each utterance should be judged by the listener as to the meaning conveyed and its value.

It's really interesting from a psychological point of view. The brothers giving the online talks , especially the Governing body , their body language betrays they don't believe .
Not only that but the teaching methods of the " theocratic ministry school " are worse than useless. It's repetitive nonsense. In order to be an effective speaker , one must study the people who do it for a living. For example , Tony Robbins , or 1993 Nobel prize nominee Joel Wallach.
You will see a world of difference in presentation , style and approach. In business , you push for not just the sale , but effective delivery. If your delivery is effective your message may be effective. That person could become a customer in the future or even bring others to your product. A principle the JWs don't understand , but you have to submit and follow their Theocratic guidance anyhow.
So they're inspired then , if you have to follow their program. Wait no ? So why ? .......
They are not making sales, they want volunteers and have established their own system. You can try to reason it through but likely you too will just sadly shake your head. The thing to be aware of is if you are Christian, Watchtower is not a Christian organisation but claims to be. If you join as a Christian (as people do), gradually you will be silenced from expressing that which is in the Bible. And that seems to be their goal, you fall silent when it comes to the Truth, Jesus Christ.
JW's have even been conned regarding the name JEHOVAH'S witnesses. Not ONE scripture tells Christians to witness for GOD'S name, but DOZENS tell them they've to witness for CHRIST'S name!

I know you are making a fair point. But members of the house of Jacob were described by Jehovah as being His witnesses. Therefore, the Watchtower stands in opposition to the words of Daniel, Jeremiah and Ezekiel, who can legitimately be described as Jehovah's Witnesses. These prophets, most especially Daniel gave the prophecies to do with the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ for the 1st time. The house of Jacob and Christianity cannot be separated, even if their roles are different.

@@RitaMalikfour Regarding the lies they tell, one elder explained to me that some elders believe that if they tell a lie and they have convinced the other person, then they believe God has approved the lie. This is a dreadful thing to do to people, it confuses them and causes them to question their own sanity. Cruel even in ordinary life, but done by people claiming to be Christian who are representing Almighty God, it is utterly blasphemous.
@@annamarina3087 j was not a good j w , I found the meetings boring, I was a clock watcher and the information from the talks never told us about Jesus , 1919 and many things I didn’t find unt I researched or congregations told not to watch the news when bad leaks were out they ordered us. To walk away with a clear conscience and/or not have doubts Watchtower is lying, you have to be very certain. Also, Watchtower are not and never have been Jehovah's Witnesses, not really. They just lifted the term from the book of Isaiah. What they did to the likes of you and me was to convince us that the term 'Jehovah's Witness' was an alternative term for Christian.

I believe that the elder was joking and that the actual figure is closer to 95%. A useless discussion on the meaning of a scripture that can't be proven one way or the other but whose participants love to pretend they have the correct answer.
An elder died and his wife gave me a thesaurus. Told me he prepared all his talks using it. And that about sums it up, they mess with the meanings of words to confuse you. But some with a knowledge of Hebrew and Greek are particularly good at it and do not expect to be found out in their lies.

Anna Marina, I did listen but it was difficult. I’m third generation JW but of course, I’m an X-JW. Most of my family is now gone, they didn’t think they would die before Armageddon. There are several channels out there with good info. Keep up your interesting videos. I have both copies of Ray Franz books, really shocking but they spell out the real truth. ❤️
Appreciate the encouragement. Next RUclips coming up will show just how crazy the maths is to do with 1914 - it's nothing to do with dates really, rather it's how they change the scriptures. This is what I was disfellowshipped for, sticking to the truth. After I have got that done I'll put up a version of this video with improve audio.

This is weird. An elder admitting to someone that 50% of what he says is rubbish? Why would he do something like that?
The explanation in the video as to what exactly coming, return, arrival, presence means in modern English is irrelevant to what the NT account says. They are all English words that are synonymous with parousia. They all mean the same thing. JWs use the Greek word to try and prove that it means "presence as in 1914". Presence is used in the ancient meaning as to the arrival of a king.
It's all the same. Jesus has only one second coming, arrival, presence and that is some unknown time in the future. There are no identifiable last days. The last days started from his time and continue to the end. The context of the mentions of that last days in the NT show that.
Of course, you this might have been what you were saying but it didn't seem to clear to me. Hard to focus with that incessant music.

@@RitaMalikfour Hi Rita - Not quite sure I follow your question but on the subject of Dan 1:1 it reads 'in the 3rd year of Jehoiakim's rulership.' But when you look at the date they set on that 3rd year it is the same date they set on Jehoiakim's 11th and final year.
Regarding Dan 2:1 it reads 'in the 2nd year of Nebuchadnezzar's rulership'. However they consider this to be 606 BCE, which is the year AFTER 607 BCE. They consider 607 BCE to be the 19th year of Nebuchadnezzar's rulership.
So they have the 19th year of Nebuchadnezzar followed by his 2nd year!

@@RitaMalikfour Put to the back of your mind. We don't worship angels. The Watchtower's reasoning on Michael is very compelling but I would never describe Jesus as an angel. He is Jehovah's first born only begotten son. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the Lamb of God and the Messiah.

You are getting caught up in too much detail, obscuring the overall picture or significance. No matter which conclusion you are drawing from what the material is as presented in the Reasoning publication, subtlety does not change the fact that we are living in the end-time, and while you get caught up in words that serve as stumbling blocks for you, Armageddon will have come by the time you continue contemplating semantics. If the Governing Body is misdirecting the whole of mankind, they are doing it to themselves too, and then nobody survives because we are all doomed, just what God and Jesus want.

I was not brought up in this and it makes a difference. I had freedom of speech and a wealth of outside knowledge. I was lied (or dealt with craftily) to in my study, once I realised I blew the whistle. I can imagine how people forced to believe their lies can be broken, or more than broken, lose their mind and have their faith snuffed out. It's not that person's fault. It is the fault of those who did the misleading.
I can't change what happened to you and if you compared your life to mine you may not feel you'd want to swap. None of us have it easy. But we learn. And the lessons both of us have learnt from this abominable, cruel deception are valuable in avoiding it in the future.

I can't stand to listen to this for one second more. Trust me, no one tunes into your channel for music, there are thousands of channels we can go to to listen to music, that is much better. The music is unnecessary, it is distracting and annoying and irritating. It makes a person have to work hard to listen through the music, in order to actually hear what you are saying. I would much rather listen to what you have to say, than to listen to music, and have to fight to hear your words. This is an education channel, what if I was going to Harvard, and the professor was about to give a lecture, but before he started to speak, he popped up a ghetto blaster and turned on the music.
I know the music is a bit loud. I'm sorry. I have learnt slowly how to make these videos and sometimes I make mistakes. I would like to redo the video but not sure I'll get the time. So at the moment, it is what it is.

Then while reading Revelation 11:7 - I realized that they could not be them. There is only one beast that comes out of the abyss, the one found at Rev 17:8. I was taught that it is the UN who is that beast and it "came out of the abyss" in the 1940's for WWll. So they couldn't have been "killed" in 1916 from this beast.
@@artisallthat Hi artisallthat - and the two witnesses are part of the 6th trumpet blowing and the 2nd woe. The crazy Watchtower doctrine has the 7th trumpet blowing before the 6th. The 7th trumpet is blown in 1914.
Incidentally, the 7 trumpets aren't handed out until 1919 after the 1/2 hour of silence.
