The feature that when a car learns a road is closed it will tell other cars is more advanced than humans. The Tesla robot will also have this capability. It takes years to educate a human and seconds to educate a robot.

In a past working life I was a film technician handling 'Life on Earth' for international sales. The odd thing was that for Germany, the client did not want David Attenborough talking to camera, so where possible, these shots were edited out and replaced with clean footage. Another epic series that I also handled was Jacob Bronowski's 'The Ascent of Man' - such a powerful series, and Robert Hughes' 'Shock of the New'. They just don't make series like these anymore...

You don't understand what level 3 means.
The removal of nag means they are level 3 if it works. So he is right.
Level 3 vehicles have “environmental detection” capabilities and can make informed decisions for themselves, such as accelerating past a slow-moving vehicle. But―they still require human override. The driver must remain alert and ready to take control if the system is unable to execute the task.

MS was saying that the cost to acquire data is low since GM’s multiple is so low and the amount of fleet data potentially available so large. And that data is the true value.
Makes sense.
However, No comment on how many GM vehicles are actually able to gather data, have cameras, computers, data connection…. Seems to me most of the fleet at least needs expensive upgrades, if at all possible.

Removal of the nag will be a HUGE deal for the comfort of using FSD. The driver monitoring from the camera has gotten really good and can tell when I'm looking away from the road, at a phone, eating, etc.
You shouldn't be eating or using your phone. That means you're not paying attention. I have a strong suspicion that FSD breeds complacency.

AG1 is overrated. My family had been using it for over 1 year. We stopped it and never felt the difference before starting it, and no difference after stopping it. Expensive, relatively poor-tasting, hyped and overrated drink. Everything you need to know about it ... I just wrote here or is available from their website.

This journey will cover 22,000 kilometres, and it's not just about the distance but about the impact we can make along the way.
We are looking for six team members to circumnavigate Australia. We will take a camera and sound team to record all events. Three people are part of TEAM. We encourage women to apply for the team position.
Hard braking and acceleration are the major complains I have with the current version. It too hard for average, but totally ridiculous for “chill”. So I’m excited for this update. No real complains beyond that.
Also been wondering why fleet communication hasn’t seemed to be a thing yet. Seems obvious.
Edit: the nag is actually the other big complaint…so sounds like 12.4 will kill two birds with one stone.

When it comes to scalability and future-proof concepts nothing is as outstanding as the AWMKPX project, these guys know the drill
I'm looking forward to the future. Imagine programming certain driving modes for emergencies. I'm worried about my mom... I'd like her to just get in, ask for a hospital and let the car do the rest. Imagine integrating it so much that you have the car send an update to the hospital, alerting them to the incoming emergency. And even notify local police or traffic enforcement to be on the lookout, (or if you are lucky, have them come out to help). That future is not that far away.

Was hard to drive with the NAG, for me. I was watching the surroundings and not the screen and would miss notifications to “add slight resistance to the wheel”. And before I knew it it would chime off! 🤷♂️ there was no driving reason for me to look at the screen the Tesla had the route and speed set. I just had to watch around me.

this is all something promised 8 years ago… any new update is still nothing to what was promised then so how is this anything to be excited over?
I love my Tesla and what it can do. The latest version of FSD trial I had was 12.3.6. According to elon, we have had 420 mind blowing updates on FSD, in the last few years. His mind seem easily blown.
With AWMKPX this year is way different and way more powerful as well. These guys did everything right and they can only improve more and more, love it
FSD does one thing that is noticably different from my own driving style that is significant. I almost never need to brake leveraging regen to slow or stop the car whenever possible. On the other hand FSD 12.3 relies on braking pretty regularly.
FSD functioning amazingly … summon scares the shit out of me. Summon needs a lot of work.
Perhaps Elon should be telling NHTSA about the FSD improvements.

2:00: Disagree. NHTSA has not required wheel-nag of any brand, only camera supervision. The nag is clearly considered inferior and redundant (because it is). Removing the nag is not necessarily anything to do with FSD's capability. It is likely just Tesla agreeing with NHTSA's conclusion that the nag is a useless annoyance.

I didn't think much of the Morgan Stanley research notes - they read as if the guy who wrote them had gathered a lot of info that he did not understand deeply. The Ommatidia digression was interested but I am quite sure that if Tesla want to send the delta against the last frame (i.e. changed pixels) rather than the whole frame that they will have hardware that does it without having to invent an entirely new camera technology - total red-herring as was all the stuff about General Motors.
