im almost 14 and im trying to save up to get a big bike. my dad is into sportbike and does track days. he got me a 1986 pw50 when i was 4. ive been riding since but only o chinese pitbikes. i have a good amount of land for a big bike. i am a pretty confident rider. i am able to control alot of power and i am realy good at shifting. do you think a 2004 yz250f would work for me. im way to fast for my 140cc ptibike i cant even ride it on my track becasue im always shifting and in high gears but it just doesnt have the power at the bottom end. im 6ft and 5 inch.
I just bought a 06 yz250f motor im putting into a 01 yz250f, I noticed your place to put gas is different, in your new bike do they still put the oil in the frame of is it in the bottom of the motor like the other types of bikes?

I forgot to answer your question by the way. When I bought the bike it was just stock Yamaha bars so then about a month later I got Renthal bars and even the bar grips are blue. It does look pretty cool thank you! 😊

I had a hard time touching the floor at first but I got used to it. It was very heavy as well that I would just drop the bike. People have said you can adjust the suspension to your height and you should be fine

Hey man I got this bike when I was 13 turning 14. I was approximately 5 ft 7 and the bike was a bit heavy and tall for me so that's why every now then I dropped it softly but you get really used to it a start riding it like a champ 👍🏻
This one is a 2019 model. I don't know all about the ones today but it had a 5 valve, a DOHC four-stroke engine and initially had a steel frame and an aluminum subframe which was replaced in 2006 with an aluminum frame.
Hey mate! This bike I have is a 4 stroke. The difference to the 4 stroke and 2 stroke is that on a four stroke it's just a plane looking engine and is not much high rpm. The 2 stroke has a smaller engine with a massive oil or fuel pipe going across and around the side of the bike and the rpm is a lot louder and sort of irritating. You should google it!
@@HamiltonTaylor A four stroke as four cycles of the piston and uses valves in the head to ,a two stroke has 2 cycles and is a much simpler engine that also needs 2 stoke oil mixed with gasoline to run and has ports in the cylinder instead of valves,The big fat thing is called an EXPANSION CHAMBER/It's a type of exhaust for 2 stroke engine's.

I wouldn't recommend a race bike as beginners. I've seen some beginners on powerful ones fly off. Try a TTR, CRF F or L. Just something that goes fast but not full on power

You put your oil in the bottom of the engine and straight fuel in the gas tanks. Most 4 stroke motocross bikes are the same.

Put an oring chain on it so you dont have to oil it. And it wont make dust stick any more and wear out the chain/sprockets.

You should have no problem touching the ground with the bike out of the factory, but if the bike is too tall the suspension can be lowered

Well they're not as powerful. I had a 2014 KTM SX 65 and it was a fun little flying machine! The rev sounds and limiter was very irritating to hear.
