I know this is quite the deviation from my usual type of video but you know what, I really enjoyed making it. I found it interesting to work on, I got it done in only a few days instead of a few weeks and it's something a little bit different. If he even has the energy to do that after however long he must have spent already screaming. It's a nice detail though, if the thing is meant to suppress all sounds below some extreme volume level.

I love to think that the Malidramagiuan heard the cries of its fellow anomalies after Dr. Emerson had them killed and during the teleportation travel by the THRESHER device, it somehow found its way into Site-13 instead of already being contained, with the sole purpose of finding Dr. Emerson and killing anyone who wears the SCP emblem.
Interesting idea! However, if I remember correctly, there is an immensely complicated containment chamber right above the server room where Samsara found it. In my opinion, this was meant to imply that it was contained by the foundation at one point.

Prior to today, I didn't even know this thing had a name. I just referred to it as hecatoncheires in reference to the one-hundred armed creatures of the same name from Greek mythology.

I earnestly think that malidramagiuan could easily stack up with the gateguard, THE DEER, and Elijah if it participated in the final fight at Site-13.

Yeah, for sure. I think in most SCP videos it gets mentioned, but they almost never focus on how powerful it really is. Luckily, it seems to only want to torture one guy.

Perhaps I'm just not recalling it correctly, but it also would have been interesting to see it alongside the other 'gods' going up against the "Absence" in "The Stars Do Not Wait For You"

If we assume that each movement of the hand is the same, as we don't know the possible hand movements this thing could use, there are (2^72)-1, or 4,722,366,482,869,645,213,696 different combinations. Still an inconceivable number of possible glyphs, even without the different hand movements and possible interaction between glyphs being factored in

For anyone curious, that is four sextillion, seven hundred and twenty two quintillion, three hundred and sixty six quadrillion, four hundred and eighty two trillion, eight hundred and sixty nine billion, six hundred and forty five million, two hundred and thirteen thousands and six hundred and ninety six possible combinations. This number is incomprehensible, if this was an amount in cash you could not burn it(literally) in a lifetime

I think it's more of a Warden or a Retainer sort of thing
It's incredibly powerful, yet doesn't seem to really do anything more other than torture Emmison, other than sort of shoo the MTF away.
And considering it's said to be "activated" in the SCP-001 proposal, it alludes to an artificial nature, like a machine.
I really like the idea of a multi dimensional, artificial security force there to restrain those who break special laws or cause a huge ton of chaos, like attempting to destroy a great amount of anomalies who already do quite a number on the universe just by existing.
A multiversal All powerful police force seems like a refreshing idea for the SCP-Universe if you ask me.

Yeah. It has the ability to conjure innumerable anomalous effects, so perhaps it's some kind of embodiment of the anomalous or it resulted from the masses of anomalies that were extinguished in that place. It definitely does have that same creepy vibe as Pyramid Head.

There's a small hole in your theory:
The Gate Guardian and the Deer were also contained within the same site.
While we know that the Gate Guardian requires no containment procedures except to be left well enough alone, it was somehow confined to a closed quarters.
The Deer requires a ridiculous amount of containment, dozens of rituals that - and I quote the Containment procedures - "All it needs is to find a small hole and it will be let lose again.
We know that the site was offline for more than enough time for the Deer to break free since there was no one to conduct the rituals within Site 13, so how was the Deer Contained either way ??
While there is no definitive conclusion, my only theory is that the "Malidramagiuan" was somehow "Summoned" rather than "Broke containment", my personal thoughts is that all the SCPs within site 13 somehow did something to summon it, while the SCP & the GOC used the so called "Meat Grinder" to theoretically neutralize the SCPs, it was confirmed that those SCPs "Being Alive" is the least anomalous thing about them.
I think that the "Malidramagiuan" was the closest thing to a "Punishment" which was sent to unleash Mayhem on the world which put the GOC in power of containing anomalies. as a lesson to what happens when you try to Destroy Anomalies you don't understand rather than Containing them.
there's a small hole in your theory: the article repeatedly notes the Malidramagiuan's presence long before the breach, it couldn't have been summoned as it was around long enough to both study and jump start a whole new field of study.
@kritikill7779 could've been contained in another universe, maybe even by another scp/god entity. Then "summoned" by the thresher operating at 55 gigawatts. However the fact of Emerson being bound to it leads me to believe that he was responsible for containing it. I get a sense it doesn't like to be shackled and don't think it would care much to respond to other anomalous entities being killed or mistreated.
SCP-1730 is possibly one of the best what if scenarios in the SCP multiverse
This thing is terrifying, but yes, more of the stuff from Site-13 in general would be nice. One thing I wonder, is that this thing was once contained, and is considered to be a straight-up god, potentially omnipotent, all that. It was contained. The Foundation in this universe contained a literal god, in fact several, given the ending of 1730 shows more being released - I vaguely remember some sort of incarnation of the Saturn Deer and some other thing fighting that gargantuan leech creature, all having been released from containment save for the leech itself which formed in the grinders at some point from an anomaly which felt spited by what was being done there. I have no doubt that Emmerson being tied to the thing's top is for his punishment, but I also want to know if it was perhaps in concert with some other being making that deal with it - it'd probably be happy to, should one approach it with such an offer, given what Emmerson did. I'm going to have to re-read 1730 to remember more and theorize more, it's been a while since I have. I presume this video is a precursor with some of what's been made for the next 1730 video?
It was a worm, and made when a hardly anomalous kid ended up inside of the goop made by grinding up all kinds of scp's.
A version of Saturn Deer wasn’t there, a version of The Deer From Saturn was. They may sound similar but they are 2 different gods.

I had always imagined the head disk as vertical how else would they be able to see doctor Emerson given the scale of the SCP
Same here, although I figured that might just be due to first seeing it depicted that way on other channels

That thing is one of the reasons why I fell in love with SCP 1730, I think that would definitely be worthy of its own article and could definitely answer all the questions the fans have about it but also he might want to keep it a mystery because that might be better than getting the answers but anyways I would love to see it in another piece of work.
I really enjoyed this type of content. Analyzing the SCP and trying to understand it better along with these Illustrations. I hope to see more of them covering other mysteries.
Considering it's referred to as 'activated' maybe that can lead into a tale of what our normal Prototype actually is or what is supposed to be, my theory it was supposed to be a God entity that meant to be what this 'activated version' is. However something seemed to have gone wrong and leaving us with this bizarre monster instead of a god.

I love this new video! Also, I never knew you are so cute! This SCP is positively horrifying. I also like the way you illustrated it. Most iterations of it I've seen have the disc facing forward. Like.. a face. But this iteration makes much more sense. You explanation was terrific as well. I've never been able to get a grasp of what it looked like or it's powers until now. Visualizations of the SCP and descriptions given made it seem.... scary I suppose, but not overly concerning. This however... holy cow this thing is one of the worst and most dangerous SCP's out there. Your expounding on the powers of this SCP, as well as taking things further by elaborating on it's capabilities, it's hard to imagine the power this SCP has. Or the damage it could do. Honestly, I'd really enjoy more videos like this one. I love the format of your videos now, and I appreciate the enormous amount of work involved in making them very much. But a video like this one would be a very good and welcome addition to your channel and the SCP lore. As for what this creature might be? I mean, even the term "god" doesn't seem adequate. This creature is more like a Lovecraftian nightmare. A creature so unspeakably powerful and terrifying that people are driven mad by it's mere presence. Something so far outside the realm of our knowledge that it becomes impossible to even describe it.
I didn't think the thing could get any more unnervingly weird, but depicting the disc as facing upwards has done exactly that. Maybe because it's more 'familiar' to us to have it facing forward like a face. Another comment likened it to Pyramid Head from Silent Hill.

I always imagined this being as the amalgamation of the suffering churned into the Body Pit; a horrible ghost in Emerson's death machine.
Yes! That's how I interpreted it. Either some embodiment of the anomalous, something that appeared to 'balance' all the anomalous possibilities that had been removed from the universe by the mass executions or just some amalgamation of all the anomalies that were destroyed in the same place.

When I first looked into this SCP I was doing something else so I didn't catch everything about it... but this stuck in my mind due to how out there it was. I'm glad that you come out with these videos keep up the great work

I have a theory as to why Emmerson is being tortured by the creature for eternity.
Perhaps Emmerson was just the person who captured it and it got angy and decided to punish him forever.
Or perhaps Emmerson tried to kill the creature, and in retaliation, got chained to the creature.
Love this new showcase style of video! One thing to mention about it is that the people without hands might be a reference to Kalinin's proposal. I dont know how they could be directly connected so maybe its just a coincidence, but I would be intrested in seeing how this more cruel foundation would deal with the events of those stories.

It is important to note that this estimate does not take into account the possibility of using different character sets, special symbols, or non-Unicode characters, which could significantly increase the number of possible glyphs.

Oh, this thing. I've always wondered about that. He did a pretty good job building the atmosphere of site 13, using stuff like this. As for its origin, we know a whole lot of anomalies were destroyed in that place. That's a whole lot of anomalous possibilities. Is it a coincidence that its main ability is essentially this?
I think this guy actually showed up in the alternate universe of The Cycle proposal. Where all the 05s are killed by a Chaos Insurgent. They have to battle through Samsara, and somehow a portal gets opened up during the fight that this thing crawls out of, and it gets it's revenge on Samsara

The writer on the walls has always been my favorite scp, despite there being nearly nothing about it.
Cool Video. It was definitely enjoyable to watch how you explain who or what MALIDRAMAGIUAN is. These types of videos could also be useful and helpful for future entities like Mekkhane, Yaddelboth, the Scarlet King, the Fifthism God/The Comisc Star Fish/SCP-3125 and potential others characters or creatures or species like the Daevites or Children of the Night and their accomplishments and appearance in other SCPs and Tales for in- and out-of-universe.
P.S. There is also a connection to Kalinin's SCP-001 Proposal: Past and Future, where the MALIDRAMAGIUAN show vision to the MTFs which read : "Below us were humans, screaming, their arms ending at their wrists, crying to the silent sky for restitution, and then… the sky burned."

@@MR_ILLUSTRATED In the ouroboros Cycle (I think part 4: The way it Ends) Samsura is ordered by 05-3 to kill the protagonist, before they could, he was given an anomalous interdimensional fishing line and pull MALI through. It stopped the bullets Samsura fired and started to fight them while trying to protect the 05. The fight is way more detailed. In the Earth Crucified SCP, they moreso spoke briefly about it. I'll see if I can get some exact words.

The fact that DR gears proposal's name is "The prototype".
I fear that this thing was not a existing god originally, but rather the attempt of someone (or something) in creating an artificial being of extreme power.
The difference being that this little guy is "Active" showing the terrifying possibility that one day the prototype will "activate" and awaken the same destructive potential.
Gotta feel just a little sorry for Emmerson, he’s now eternally strapped to the disk-head of a borderline god which tortures him by burning and keeps him alive with unknown means. This is a waking nightmare so I guess it’s no wonder his screeching is the only noise heard in his proximity.

I like the illustrated videos, but I find actually putting a face to the entities that inhabit the stories a much more compelling format, kudos!
Proposed Special Containment Procedures: Through the use of Thaumaturgical affliction transferring rituals, The Malidramagiuan will be given arthritis in all of its hands, substantially limiting its ability to make kinetoglyphic gestures.
I'm not sure it's ever been thoroughly depicted how unsettling this thing would be to look at, even without any abilities. Dozens of hands jerking constantly into distinct gestures, in sync, is nightmare fuel on its own.
So he is not only the 1730's prototype, but he is also the God from the 001 Past and Future proposal?! Dang, nice DJkactus 😉👍

Personally, if this is an activated version of the "prototype" proposal, the fact that there's two 001 entities in site-13 is actually quite disturbing. Not just because they're both clearly powerful entities, but that the alternative dimension actually managed two either find, or pull two 001s into the same reality.

this works on scps that dont have a long story, i think this works really well on smaller SCPs and ones that dont have in depth strories
