I love how Velvet just casually says, "Let's find me some Melchior to eat." Imagine her walking into a cafe for daemons and say, "Uh, yeah. I'll have some Melchior with a side of reason, please."

Whenever I hear Velvet waking the Empyreans I just think of her saying: "HEY, EMPYREANS, WAKE THE FUCK UP! IT'S ALREADY PASSED NOON, GET YOUR LIFE TOGETHER!"

It's kinda of interesting the Melchior fight is made so Magilou is the best to use against him. Her Spell Absorber is pretty strong against him.
They did the same thing with Shigure and Rokurou.
LuizFelipe Porto I would have used her for this fight but I'm not good with spell casters

I like how the game basically said
"You want to fight Melchior as soon as possible, well too bad here's an ultra daemon to fight first."
I think Melchior deserved his fate the most of the entire antagonistic cast of berseria.
Regarding the 4 empyrians, i assume Teresa is used for fire, Oscar for wind, Shigure for earth and Melchior for water (based on their background in their mystic artes)

But Melchior uses ice artes.

Flowers are delicate and can wilt but to him humans are weeds to poison the world
its been too long for anyone to care, but I'll post it any way lol. It had been stated multiple times that Mechior loved flowers. He just liked them. His death is supposed to be ironic and prove Velvets point, that a man so hellbent on rationality and erasing human passions was ultimately still bound to his passion and wasn't able to rise above his human nature, despite all his prattling about rationality. Ultimately he died in the silliest way imaginable, because he hesitated to step on a flower, a completely irrational but human action.

Well this was a crazy magic battle. Loved it! After all this though, Melchior's VA is a complete uncredited mystery, but for some reason I know I've heard his voice from somewhere before.

I guess he wanted to kill two birds in one stone.
Or he just wanted to make the volcano go boom, to kill Velvet and others at the same time.
Which, again, is not very logical or reasonable, which is kinda my point :p
I'm pretty sure the point of how Melchior died was to show that the Abbey, even it's leaders, are a bunch of arrogant fools who can't ignore their emotions anymore than anyone else. It's to show their philosophy of "reason" is a load of crap.
I guess thats one way to look at it lol
