    Hey any idea if u can pick up those smaller bolts at a lowes/depot? Bolts that mount onto the brackets.. my kit only came with 2, not all 4…
    Appreciate the help

      Just take one of the ones you have and see if you can match it. I find that Lowes has a better assortment of screws. But why don't you contact Cali Raised and try to get them from them?

      @@juliodavid49 Hey, appreciate the quick reply. I ended up going to a local depot with those and found the right size bolt, so all good to go! Mounted, just need to put them on. 👍🏼

    I like your grill! You have a link of where you bought it at?

    Those Cali raised fog lights and ditch lights are horrible. I bought a used 2018 Tacoma that already had them on and they were badly corroded. The amount of rust on the metal plates that hold the fog lights was astronomical, never seen that much rust on a fog light assembly. Regardless, I ripped them off and put the stock fog lights back on and I also removed the ditch lights completely. Now the truck looks fantastic!

      Well some people don't take care of their trucks. Anything that you buy and don't take care of it will deteriorate very fast. My truck is washed often and is garaged, so so far no rust. Do you really think that the stock equipment is much better than the after market stuff? If you take care of it it will last.

      @@juliodavid49 No I don’t necessarily think that the stock stuff looks better but it definitely alleviates problems such as burnt out LED pods etc. You can install super bright LED bulbs that when they burn out you just buy another bulb or even halogen bulbs for that matter. When you install a pod that is a closed unit you put yourself into a situation that if and when the unit burns out or stops working you need to buy another sealed pod. Those Cali pods are typically sold in pairs and here in Canada that pair costs $300.00 CAD. Much easier, cheaper and much less potential for headaches with just changing the bulbs from halogen to LED. There are so many LED bulb options that even reach 24000 lumens and you can even select amber or white. I’m in Canada, you have zero chance of those metal plates not rusting and corroding with the amount of snow that we get and with the amount of salt that they put all over the roads in the winter, even if you wash your truck every day.

      I didn't buy the ditch lights from Cali, mine are a cheaper brand. The brackets are from Cali because they fit and looked better. You are right about not being able to change bulbs, So if you are worried about all of this then stick to factory stuff. I don't know what you can do about the weather, I guess you are stuck with that.@@giorgioskaraiskakis9548

      I can believe it, winters are pretty harsh up there. So its pretty rough on your vehicles. One of the reasons that I won't move further north than NJ. @@giorgioskaraiskakis9548

    What size drill bit did you use

    • @juliodavid49
      @juliodavid49 Год назад

      I started with a small pilot hole. Then an 11/32, but that was too small so the next size is 3/8. If you are not sure of what to use, drill some holes on a piece of scrap metal until you get the right size.
