I think she does care but she’s also upset Pin didn’t tell her. It’s understandable her reaction. How do you react to a relative you thought you knew well suddenly showing up with an engagement ring on their finger, when you didn’t even know they were dating anybody? She’s more upset above Pin keeping it a secret than she will be about Pin’s engagement being to Anin.

She wants to protect Pin from that pain, but she doesn’t know that will actually put Pin in the same place she found herself in.

Seeing Patt just start bawling is so heartbreaking. She did nothing wrong yet she lost the only person she ever loved in her sleep. She wasn’t able to be there, wasn’t able to tell her one last time how much she loved her, how much she wishes they had more time. None of that, just gone. Having to then spend the rest of your life with a giant hole in your heart, seeing couples everywhere with families and kids knowing that would’ve been you. She deserves a happy ending, whether that is helping Pin and Anin and possibly putting on her engagement ring at the end or if it’s just allowing herself to accept that however it happened, she met the love of her life and they would’ve been together today. She doesn’t deserve to feel so heartbroken for something she had no control over.
