Wdym tibetic ethnic groups? Tibetic is purely a linguistic grouping of languages decedent of old Tibetan. This is purely a tibetan dress, no tibetic dress (I don't know what that even means)
i used the term "Tibetic" to refer to people that have directly descended from the Tibetans and speak a Tibetic languages since there is no pre-existing term for it unless you count "Bhotiya". i used Tibetic instead of Tibetan because several of these ethnic groups don't consider themselves to be Tibetan.
@@LhawangPoSherpa because what "Tibetan" is depends on who you ask. If we go by what actual Tibetans think Tibetan is, because we should preference their opinions on their own language/s, then it's "any language spoken by a Tibetan," so that includes Gyalrongic languages that didn't descend from Old Tibetan. That means "Tibetan" includes non-Tibetic languages. Tibetic is a term that avoids social and political hangups and only refers to languages descended from Old Tibetan. Might as well add that's an answer Tibetans will give when they're feeling inclusive. When they're feeling exclusive they'll tell a Gyalrongic speaker to "speak Tibetan" and probably call it ལོག་སྐད lol
@@LhawangPoSherpa though you atleast seem to call it chuba(and also because it's part of your ethnic identity aka sherpa). Not like those shameless tamangs who copy Khamba jewelries, chuba and others and call it their own.
@@LhawangPoSherpa I also feel like calling these groups tibetic would be a huge disrespect to them. They don't consider themselves Tibetan and having that label would probably rub them the wrong way

The apron signifying that the woman is married is common only in western Tibetan province of Utsang
Stone W apron means unvirgin and without apron is virgin
Tenzin Sumdup virgin isn’t the right word . Virgin means someone who hasn’t had sex. 😀Married versus unmarried is more fitting.
Capricorn Star haaa what ever r you married or not
Beautiful
