It's not as easy as just giving you dimensions. You need to measure it out properly yourself before doing the project because you need to figure out how to attach the table saw top to your new box. So you can't just make a box. You either have to make it to line up with the screw inserts of the top, or you have to make a top and then add it to the box. You need to decide the layout.
@@ModernDIYProjects I’ve got it figured out now thanks for reply I measure from center of bolt to center of bolt and then outside to outside of original box and mine all lined up perfectly and my drill and jig saw worked perfectly for cutting front hole for adjustment and side while for angle adjustment
Did it have a fence or are you going to get one?? I have a old Rockwell and I can't find a fence for it that's not priced crazy. Mine has round tubes across the front and back so I'm not sure what the fence should look like??
It had no accessories with it. I will probably make a video later of how I make a fence, miter and maybe a sled for it. I didn't do it in this video because it was getting long enough already.
Hi Rodney to hopefully shed some light on your fence situation, I believe the fence design you are looking for would be a jet lock fence, you can find them on eBay for about $50. Not sure if this helps.
I have a fence for mine, it’s red, not very accurate but I love older craftsman stuff. It’s a loud little bastard and it’s built on a light frame so It vibrates hard, need to at least get some wheels for it
Well If You Need To Make Another Box Now You'lll Know How. Just Me Using Tree Wood To Make Coasters. I Use Tree Wood Cause It's Free & If I Mess up One Or Two It Wont Cost Me Anything.
Damn same one I was lookin for got it from my ex’s grandpa and it’s really loud and rough just wondering if that just the way it was supposed to be or not lol
I can't way if it is loud since I don't have it in the original case. The wood that I used to make the case may make it quieter, but it doesn't sound louder than any other power tool. You may want to lubricate the motor. Maybe bearings are going out.
i have an even older black and decker workmate - i think that might be what your table was called. i’m jealous of the saw guide that comes with yours!
That is almost the same as the original box. Good job!
Can I use any blade adjusting wheel on my hitachi table saw, they are missing.
Sure you can. As long as you can adapt it to fit the spindle it should be fine.
What size Blade Dose That Saw Have?
10" Blade
I have this same saw same problem my case is broken do you know the dimensions of box you built?

If you liked that one, check out the Craftsman Radial Arm saw and the Craftsman Jigsaw that I also restored. They're both on my video page.
