Manor Lords is a strategy game that allows you to experience the life of a medieval lord. Grow your starting village into a bustling city, manage resources and production chains, and expand your lands through conquest.
Inspired by the art and architecture of late 14th century Franconia, Manor Lords prioritizes historical accuracy wherever possible, using it to inform gameplay mechanics and visuals alike. Common medieval tropes are avoided in favor of historical accuracy, in order to make the world feel more authentic, colorful, and believable.

You don't need to build the buildings next to the resource like you did with the forger hut. You can build them near your settlement and the assign the work are over the berries. You should also build you homes a bit bigger to have plots at the back. You can then use them to grow vegetables , chicken coops for eggs and goats for milk to be sold on the market which massively helps with food variety and wealth
And don’t forget to Click the minus to reduce the plot size to get the double houses but it will takes a few clicks
It's like Stronghold is back , it kinda has that vibe , i like the fact that you can play it just to build , not go to war and stuff , can't wait for the next episode . Great job Scott

@@Jonusbiker Not really. If you play the first option there is no combat. Your biggest threats are food shortage and surviving the winter.

Really like the slow pace and layout of the village so far. Most playthroughs I see ate villages with roads all over the place and nothing makes sense. Yours sincerely looks like something they would’ve done back in the day. One center road from the main road and all the buildings close by near to the road. Good stuff 👍
The migration of animals was hilarious considering you had space right beside the hunting camp which, for whatever reason, you decided not to use.

I would love to see them add fishing as another food source with rivers and lakes spawned on maps, that would be dope.

When you build your houses bigger to get the tool shed icon to make vegetables farms, Chickens coops for eggs, goat farm farm for milk, or for making clothes, weapons, armor, and advanced products also Click the minus to reduce the plot size to get the double houses but it will takes a few clicks also

Definitely getting this.
Just a thought, if they implemented the civ6 style roads/paths that are made organically by what is used (desire lines) this could have been satisfying. The used path between village and well, for example, creates a path automatically -and reverse, the grass grows back when not trodden.
The game does look quite outstanding. I do wonder, given that this is a conflict based game in the longer term, whether it might have been wise to think defensively right from the very start in the positioning and layout of your village in order to restrict the areas that you will need to defend in order to be able to concentrate your forces. Time will tell!

Blimey, this is the first time I have even heard of this game. Looks really good, will definitely check it out! Also, Unreal engine gives an amazing visual result.
if you click the eyeball on the left top side of the screen you can go into first person mode and walk around your village

Your right I think it comes out close to November or December maybe but I'm not entirely sure this is just a guess on when I think it will come out on xbox

Loving the game so far, but im wondering if you're ever going to revisit Farthest Frontier as they've added a lot of stuff to it since your last playthrough. Its great that we have so many awesome city bulders to choose from right now.

I feel like the placement grids, building blueprints should be hand drawn or something that looks remotely of the period.
