Thanks man! Yeah It was a great find! I umm'ed and arr'ed for a couple of weeks about whether to buy it. Then the seller dropped the price and it just made sense. I'm glad I did! I adore all of my PRS Guitars but having this one out all the time is fantastic. Have an awesome day!
Thanks dude! I appreciate it! Totally agree with you about the CEs! I will no doubt be looking out for an older one at some point. They are amazing guitars! Have an awesome day!
Those Black Satin Pattern Thin necks on the CE 24 PRS are amazing . So comfortable and easy to play. I snagged a PRS CE 24 Semi-Hollow 2022 Whale Blue Burst with Satin Neck on a Reverb for a steal price new a few years back and it's great! If you want to try a PRS that might be the hidden gem in the PRS lineup.... check out the PRS S2 Vela Semi-Hollow Satin. Great "Pattern Regular" neck, light as a feather and some really versatile pickups for any genre of music! Nice one Jay!
Oh sweeeeet! I love the faded whale blue color! I know the next color I'm gonna be chasing will be a purple or something like that! 😃 Thanks for the tip about the S2 Vela as well. I will have a look at that. It would be a good thing if my PRS family grows right????? 😜 😂 Have an awesome day!
Thanks man! I so appreciate it and welcome to the channel! I did see your other comment about the track but it seems to have disappeared! Anyways, thank you! Enjoy the other videos too! I've been having a blast with gear over the last few months. Have an awesome day!
I totally hear you Jordi. The clean tones on these guitars are exceptional in my opinion! My favourite has to be the Custom 24 in position 2 - it is just so so beautiful! I love it! Have an awesome day dude!
Would you recommend it for a first semi-hollow guitar? I just got my first PRS last year when I saw you play the swamp ash version and the pick-up wiring needs some work but I really like the craftsmanship. Wouldn't mind checking one out as a semi-hollow, but Gretsch seems to be the first stop for most players. Hope you're having a rocking 2025, Jay!
Hey dude, thats a great Q - I love the PRS semi hollow as the body size is more compact then the Gretsch or Gibson 355, etc. The PRS is only chambered at the top so it adds a little bit to the tone but obviously not as much as lets say a 355. SO, it kinda depends on the tone that you're looking for from the guitar. I would certainly recommend this guitar to anybody from beginner to pro level player in all honesty as it is such a good guitar and has insanely good tones, plays so well... well you know from the video 😊 If you're able to try both out, definitely do so as it will let you know how comfortable the guitar is for you, which fretboard you like more, and which sound you like more. Both will be different in all departments. Hope that helps. Have an awesome day!
PRS is one of those brands that make exceptional guitars but for some reason I just can't get into them. They're gorgeous, well built, they play great, and sound great. I just don't feel the same wild inspiration with them as I do with a ratty old kramer. I do love looking at them though, my local shop has a ce with a top that is spectacular. I can't say I haven't thought about it.
Hey dude, I hear ya! A few people have said that to me. I guess I really just connected with the instruments. I recall when i went to check out my 2003 and picked it up for the first time - it just felt right for me 😊 I still feel it every time I pick it up. I love my old guitars too! And a vintage Kramer! Oooof! Beautiful! I can understand that for sure man! Have an awesome day!
Hey dude! Thanks for the suggestion! I've actually tried those and they're definitely good guitars for the money. But I have to admit, I'm completely spoiled by how the USA models feel - there's something really special about their neck treatment that just blows me away every time. It's all about finding what feels right for you! Have an awesome day! 😊
10:16 Killer intro, monster playin'... thumbs up, of course!
Thanks man! Glad you liked the track! I loved playing this one 😊 Have an awesome day!

New sub here...I couldn't agree more with some of your comments. Glad I found your channel.
loved your final track...that you use great melodies instead of wanking, for wankers sake. Nice track, brother.
