    I love this discussion and the amicable resolution aka compromise. It shows how men and women brains work. Men are from Mars, Women from Venus. The extra clothes is necessary. What if when you drop him off he gets in a fit start crying, throwing up or have a poop that messes up his shorts and shirt. Alysia is right. You never know the outcome of delivery so it's good to plan ahead for what you can especially in this COVID19 time.

    Asafa, you lose on this one buddy. Alysia is right! She's spot on. Her bag for hospital should be ready and waiting because God is the one in control. She needs to be calm when she goes into labour, not trying to remember a list full of things to tell you to get! As for the extra top for my boy... I agree again for hundreds of reasons but nothing is worse than picking up your child from school, knowing that you have to also make a quick stop, and when your child comes to you they are so messy like they don't have parents. Lady I'm on your side 1000%.

    I always packed extra clothing for my son whilst at nursery etc, yes they may get dirty but if they get wet due to water play its not good to keep them in damp wet clothing.
    Must say though it was nice to see Saf apprehensive about sending him to camp, most dads dont have these feelings and get anxious, its usually the moms. So this was really nice to see. can't wait to see the new beautiful edition to the family.

    That’s right Alyshia stay organized, relieve stress. When I was pregnant the day I decided I was not listening to hubby anymore and I’m going to wash the baby clothes and do maternity photos was the morning I woke up with contractions. I went to the hospital that Saturday evening with only my purse, my mom and hubby lol! Baby was here 2 weeks early. While I did not need a thing in the hospital, hubby was on the run none stop trying to get everything prepared for when we get home. To this day he still has not learn any lesson from being so last minute and stress out.

I worked right through until one night I went home and my water broke two weeks early. Daddy was at work, I went to my sis room told her, while I went and took a shower got myself ready. God knows he made us women very strong🙂My neighbor heard us and called asking if am ready to go UWI. Started his car. And we headed out. Daddy made his way. Baby girl born by 6:32am next morning. Asafa... Alyshia knows what she is doing, you must trust her judgment and decisions. We as mothers always want to be prepared when it comes to our children. Also, at most camps and schools it is a requirement for parents to pack extra clothing for their children at Ameke's age, for the unexpected incidents. And yes her hospital bag can be packed in advance in the event that she has an early delivery. Even at times when you disagree with your wife, just go along with her especially during pregnancy because when you are dominant with your opinions it can come off dismissive to her opinions and that can be hurtful to a woman that is pregnant and hormonal. Prayers to you and your family. Ameke have an awesome time at camp💙

    Alysha is right, Asafa most ladies love to prepare. Remember you can't just go and buy the clothes and then use them they need to be washed first before using. Getting excited is normal, even when my son going high school when back school I got excited. Happy to see my baby going to summer camp.❤

    Bwoy asafa! Just give up on this one. Men are sooooo care free. Being prepared is the best thing one can always be. Some things are just biological, women are wired this way. Its not a matter of you being calm and her being fussy. Its not fussy, you are just wrong. Hush

    Asafa you need to wash out the stuff before putting them on the baby. Only pampers you can pick up at last minute. She's to have her bag packed at 7 months in case of emergency she can have pre-mature baby ensure she's ready. Also it's always good to pack extra clothes for babies/toddlers they can mess up themselves and you have to change them

    • @grace-fc2kf
      @grace-fc2kf 3 года назад +3

      @@gambriehewert1677 So, it is not a 20 or 30 or 40 year difference. Back in the day, men were usually a good number of years older than their wives, because they had to make preparations for a home and all that it entails. The age difference back then wasn't necessarily responsible for any discord.
      What we see here is mostly about personality and hormones. When a woman is about to give birth, the "nesting instinct" is at its peak and she can get somewhat anxious about having every thing organized and in place, for her precious newborn. God Almighty in all his wisdom gives her that burst of motherly energy for meticulous preparation. Fathers are not granted that, and are more laid back and practical.

    Turing this into 'A woman likes to prepared' & "men like last min" stereotypes is silly af. Plenty of men like to plan ahead & many women are last min. It's seems like this is an argument over paranoia way more than anything.
    This obsession over "pregnancy bags' is modern culture anxiety based on mostly nothing real.
    Human beings somehow have been giving birth successfully for 400000 years without Johnson & Johnson products
