Thanks for sharing! I think we may try out Math Mammoth for my 3rd grader next year. We have enjoyed Singapore Math a great deal, but my son has requested a change for next year and Math Mammoth looks great.
I know this video is older but I am seriously looking into buying books for My Math to tie in with my Math Mammoth. I too feel it is a good program but straight to the point with no glitz or glam. I hope that My Math will jazz it up some. Thanks for the idea and the books were super cheap online.
Thank you for this video on this math curriculum. I am looking at changing my daughter's second grade math and like that there are websites mentioned as well. My daughter likes to do math websites. Thanks again!
Hi are u still using math mammoth? I am using it and we enjoy it, but i am looking for ways to incorporate manipulatives because my on needs them and suggestions?
You are so very welcome!! I am glad you found it helpful!!! I haven't taught those grades yet. But, I know some of the big ones are Saxon, Teaching Textbooks and Math U See. Here is a link to a great review website, it is directly to the math section. cathyduffyreviews.com/homeschool-reviews-core-curricula/math
Usually one page of Math Minutes (which is a spiral review), one page of Math Mammoth. She is older now and also does three lessons of Teaching Textbooks a week as well and a page of My Math. Both of these are a little behind Math Mammoth from what I have seen so it is good review and I like that they all teach the concepts in different ways. I have found I really like mixing the styles. Just my preference though. Math Mammoth is still our base curriculum and now my son has started in Math Mammoth first grade this year (he is technically a kindergartener but was ready). He is totally different kind of learner and Math Mammoth is working great for him so far as well.

I also was looking for the video you mentioned on putting your binder together but couldn't find it. I would love to know where to find it. Thanks!

Hi thank you for sharing this on average how many pages do you cover each day?
