Love the video. I was specifically looking for redundancy for a partition/CSS for our Chauvin site which I didn't see in this video. Phones at this site are registered to the CUCM in our HQ, but calls go out the local PRI/PSTN via a VG4331. I was curious to how to add the CUCM as a secondary path for calls to get out if the VG failed (ex. due to power). Thanks!
Hey,I am not sure I understand. It seems like the question is asking "how do I call phones at a remote site, that are registered to HQ, if the WAN fails"? If the WAN fails then the remote phones deregister from the CUCM and you would need SRST deployed at the remote site so they can register there. In that case you use CFUR to handle dialling to those phones. If the phones are unreachable from HQ you might as well send the call to voicemail. If you can still reach the phones through the PSTN then you can use the PSTN number as the CFUR number and reach them that way.I talk about CFUR int this video: ruclips.net/video/hi45rlk0_FM/видео.html.Let me know if I misunderstand the question. Thanks,Joey
