THURSDAY VLOG - Vomiting and Voting

- Today started at 3am with Kenzie projectile vomiting over his room and the bathroom.... and that pretty much set the tone for the next 9 hours. Thankfully it's now eased and he is managing to keep down some water and lucozade. So my day has been about scrubbing and disinfecting. Brendan's night was also very disturbed as they share a room so he stayed home and had a lay in today. Then spent the afternoon helping to disinfect door handles, light switches and other high traffic areas in the house! To top it of it was Election day...... so I had to try and pick a party to vote for and home I wasn't dooming my country! 🤦♀️ I think I picked the best of a bad bunch 🤣
Bless him. I hope nobody catches it. 🙏

Watching this Friday morning hope the Bear is feeling some improvement today and no one else is sick.
Morning. He is asleep at the mo but he woke at 4am and seem more like himself. So I told him he could try a bit of toast for breakfast later. Glad he is starting to feel better!

Oh no I hope Kenzie is feeling a lot better. Awful when they are ill and you feel so helpless Dioalyte is a great help with sickness. Awww thank you Jennifer. He did ask if it was the food but we all had the same and he was the only one to get suck. And then he got the temperature so I'm pretty sure it's a bug. Brendan is such a help. I'm very proud of the young msn he is turning in to. So thank you for saying that. I'm very proud of both of them, of course, but he is just becoming a young man and has matured so much in the past few months. Thanks watching and commenting xxx
Oh! Dioralyte! Izzy finds that so unpalatable that on the occasions she's had it, it's provoked immediate vomiting. She had a nasty strain of E-Coli once and ended up on dialysis in Bristol Children's hospital for about 12 days. Fortunately, she made a very good recovery. That was many years ago.
Yeah he wasnt keen either but little syringes of it were helpful. Poor Izzy. That sounds awful and a big worry for you. Glad she recovered well.
Flu has moved through our house for the last two weeks. First me, then daughter. No food or fluids for two days and 6 doses of Pepto-bismol later the worst was over! I hope he feels better soon!

Hi pip hope he's feeling better there's some schools shut down near me because of this sickness bug.
He is in bed now and fallen asleep again. Very unlike him but totally what he needs. So many people seem to have had this or the nasty flu!

OH my.... you poor momma. It's a lot of work having a sick kid... with all the cleanup and the worry. I remember those days well. Sure hoping that Kenzie is on the mend, and that you and Brendan were able to delete all the germ bugs. I use my diffuser with On Guard essential oil from DoTerra oils when someone is sick in our home, or has been sick before visiting us. I do not like being sick at all.. ha
Voting.... what a freakin' joke that is eh? Your Boris and the American Trump sure are winners eh? They come from the same hair-do mold. Good luck in your countries vote... and may the least of the worst win. Here's to hoping your household stays healthy. 💟

I'm just glad the bug was relatively short lived. He has had a really good sleep which I'm sure has helped.
Election results are shocking this morning. I actually thought we would see a change...... but looks like more of the UK want to continue seeing people suffer in poverty. How on earth have got to a point were Boris and Trump are in charge?🤦♀️😥
