It is magnificent magic and we all should feel privileged to witness it . If they remove the items the land will simply provide more anyways . . Such majesty to behold .

Very true, especially with older equipment that has zero safety features built in! My tractor is a 67 international harvester 444.
Hooking up implants prior to buying a quick hitch was extremely dangerous , had to stand between the tractor and implement with tractor in neutral and brake off so you could rock the wheels back and forth to disconnect the box blade or bush hog. I’ve don’t stuff like that my whole life without much concern but as I get older and have less body parts ( lost my leg to infection in October ) I’m trying to preserve the rest of what I’ve got by reducing situations that could turn out very badly!

Oil works better than grease on stuff like pins and swivels. You don't really need it, but oil helps free stuff up and dissappears over time, whereas grease holds the dirt and gets hard and leaves you with a build-up. Especially in a sandy environment, dry might be better than greasy. I use motor oil for many applications it's cheap and the old used stuff is a freebie. It works great on all kinds of things like hinges and swivels and anti rust. Mice don't like oily things as well. WD-40 by the jug dissappear even faster but is great for cleaning oily and greasy stuff it won't hurt plastic rubber electrical and most painted surfaces except clear coats.

The hydraulic Top Link can be used to put down force on 3 Point implements and to adjust blade angles among other things. The bracket on the top is sometimes used on Post Hole Diggers to put down force on the auger instead of just gravity force. The "Danuser 20/40" Post Hole Digger has the option for a down force cylinder for example.

Amazon has vent and cap sets you can install on your fuel cans. Just install them as high on the canister as you can to prevent leaking.

Never never grease the three point balls. The grease will hold the sand and cause premature wear. It is a tractor. Only grease where it has grease fittings. Get some carburetor cleaner and get all the grease off.

"It's BACON"! When I was driving through Ashfork on the I-40 we saw some cows and I took a picture of them and sent them to my brother. He replied; "Dinner"! 😂

That's not a pig at the end of this video. That's just your average Boarder Collie after you've left it at grandmas for two weeks to go on holiday !
My niece left her husky with mum for just 10 days last summer, and the thing must have put on 10lbs !!! 😆

You need to look into the issues with the CP4 fuel pump in your truck. When they go bad (as they are known to do) they take out your entire fuel system.
As SOON as truck goes out of warranty it would greatly behoove you to get the pump swapped out.for the DCR pump. The upgrade is $2K to buy but replacing the entire fuel system after the CP4 grenades is many times that cost.

Install a CP4 bypass kit immediately - cheap insurance to protect the rest of the fuel system until you need to replace the pump with a DCR

Damn, I'd probably wing it as much as you do. But I'd also read the instructions after a while 😂 Also, don't grease /those/ balls. It's going to ruin them. Just clean them and make sure they are used frequently. (And not stored outside)

I think there is enough aluminum lying around to scrap and pay for a nice battery back up system for the ranch. Every time you go to civilization take a load of scrap metal.

You own a grader. Time to get it running and use it to go through the wash right before the moving truck.

On the quick hitch, I believe you can leave handles down because the bottom is spring loaded and will click in. Flip up only to remove.

I think those were Vietnamese pot bellied pigs. They were a fad for pets a decade or so ago. Someone probably dumped them out there, or they escaped. and traveled a LONG way.

Hello Herb. Since I've gone hog hunting before, I'm amazed how close that one smaller hog got to the truck. As far as a wash of fine powered quicksand, maybe the land can provide with some of those steel sheet panels that are laying around. Like during WW2 when the SeaBees made those aircraft landing strips. Might not work but you can maybe give it a try.
