I wish I had gone with one of your clutches. The factory one went out and I replaced it with one ordered from Missouri. Not pleased at all. Looks like your product is of good quality. My next clutch will be from you guys. Would love for you to install it.

That throwout bearing noise about made me have a stroke.
what's the power rating on this system I've done a lot of after market and my factory clutch just slips if I don't ease up to speed if I put the pedal down in any gear below 1800 rpm just makes lot of noise and goes no where
Is this available for 2010 Ram 3500 with the G56? My 5th started to slip. If yes where can i buy the parts?
So the flywheel and clutch are a single unit? I've ordered this part from Rock Auto and am hopefully put it in this weekend. I didn't see you use the alignment tool at all. Was that just off camera?
I just put the valair 700 hp clutch in with ceramic buttons. having trouble adjusting the clutch with the neutral safety switch any ideas also for reference how much is your kit and were can some one go to get it thanks again buddy.

Thank you for posting this video. We just bought a clutch kit K52179-1SK from O'Reilly's, however, the box was open. Looks like all the parts are there EXCEPT the installation guide, which from your video looks indispensable. Will call Perfection in the morning to see if you can fax or email me a copy of the installation guide. I think we could do it from this video alone, but I would rather have the guide for backup. Also, I didn't see the spline lubricant in the box we received. Blessings, looks like a great product!
did you remove the transfer case or just both drive shafts?
Hey I have a 08 dodge 6.7 6speed manual . The south bend clutch I have is good but noisy . Lol any way my hydraulic clutch went after 40000 miles is the install the same as ur vid on the 2005 2500 ram ?
what is the easiest way to get to the top bell housing bolt without taking the exhaust off
Asssemble a socket with 5 feet of wobble extensions. Alternative to wobbles, you can use a swivel socket.

Hey bud..Where can I purchase a baring tool..My Kit only came with a clutch alignment tool!!Is there a part number on it?
It's not a name brand..I went back and looked..Most kits don't come with a baring tool..
It's a Valeo Clutch Kit!

Just installed this exact same clutch on my 06 I noticed after install truck is harder to go into the gears and pedal is stiffer not as soft as the dual mass any suggestions
I have this same problem in my 06 and its gotten worse
@@sorenabel6061 did you just do yours. Went to the gear oil instead of atf dont know if that makes a difference. But I did over fill mine by a quart.
@shane hall I did mine almost a year ago, I had gear oil in mine, switched to atf thinking it was causing the hard shifting. No luck. Getting ready to buy a south bend or valair
Smart move I will definitely be swapping mine out. And upgrading the hydraulics. Let me know how the valair or South bend does I had a single disk in my 01 with nv4500 and loved it. I kinda miss the softness of my dual mass that was in my g56 before going to this junk
@@shanehall5823 same here. This is actually my 2nd one from them. The first 1 had factory defects and only lasted 7 months. The factory clutch was nice to drive with. I hear valair and south bend is really nice

to bad you didnt supply a rear main seal and installer with each kit
ye man, i just work in the trade and know how much work it is to R&R a tranny and i know myself i would replace the rear main or recommend it everytime and leave it to the customer but when they hear how little extra time it is, they usally slap one in there.
Also J body Gm's (sunfires for example) have you ever tryed to remove the transmission from the top?
G56 garbage don't by that transmission and to all those engineers out there stop building your transmissions casing out of aluminum i guess they don't know nothing about distortion in metal...pure junk folks heavy duty truck with an outer aluminum casing so brilliant

Thank you great video, we are doing this on a 07 dodge 3500 dually this weekend and we do not have a auto lift we are doing it caveman style on the concrete floor, wish me luck.
Did you have the issues were the pedal is more stiff and harder to go through the gears
@@shanehall5823 Actually the clutch pedal is soft like really smooth, only issue is transmission makes noise we had to ad additives to the oil to quiet down the noise. The dual mass did that by design to quiet the gear noise.
Couple questions.
Number 1: if the clutch is not self adjusting how do you adjust for wear over time? How do you know when to adjust?
Number 2: how did you align the holes when you put the unit back in? showed bolting the tray back to the motor how about the clutch to the flywheel? Did you use the special tool again to turn the motor and just spin the trans by hand?
Number 3: visited 3 local shops and both book this at almost 10 hours. after watching your video it makes me wonder, "where is the other 8 hours going"? what do you guys book the time for labor on a project like this?
You didn't mention the gear rollover noise that the G-56 will now produce. That is the side effect of the smf conversion. it the guy worked the trans over 99K I wonder why he didn't go with the stocker again? I miss that nearly silent trans. I have the SBC OKHD conversion clutch in mine with Amsoil MTG 75-90 synthetic.

i have 300 thousand miles on my truck, put in a new clutch and the pedal doesnt engage until about an inch from the floor and hard to get in gear. any suggestions, everything is new hydraulics, throwout, flywheel conversion, ect..
Grease on the teeth or spline is not a good idea, you just fling it off. if you want to use something use graphite.
I have a 07 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9 diesel 6 speed manual and I have a hard time shifting into gears when it's at a stop mostly when I want to go into reverse I got the master and slave cylinder replace and still does the same thing what could be wrong with it??

I am also doing a clutch install on 6.7 cummins with g56 transmission. I need the bolt torque for the bolts connection the transmission to the engine. Also would like the tightening pattern. Thanks.
