I don’t know if you’re familiar with the decade system by Scott Fawcett, but I think it might really help your game. You have such an advantage off the tee with your distance and it still seems like you’re hesitant to use it at times because you think it’s the smarter play to lay up. I would highly recommend you check out some of his stuff if you haven’t already. Love the content and continued success on all that you do moving forward.
Been preaching this since I started following him! Been following Scott and Decade for about 4-5 years now and it takes so much mental questioning out of your game
I've never seen so many par saves in one round. As for your your tee shots and approach shots , just remember to keep your grip pressure light ! It helps if you're feeling a little pressure. Great video Micah ⛳⛳⛳
Proud of you! It seems you should’ve pulled the driver out a bit more often considering how good your scrambling is it would’ve been worth the risk. The wedges were pulling about 3 yards I saw which is no big deal and you could probably just think about the start line and hit it perfect. I’m not here to judge but I want to help as much as I can since I’m on the same journey as you and have to play mini tours every week. Just got done with one in 50 mph winds on a tight course in Oklahoma, NOT FUN. 😂
Great insight on the mini tour which is something I've been curious about. Sounds like a tough grind but that's where all the extra work comes in to get to the next level through this step. Keep up the great work and posing during your journey!
Great job! Try holding your finish for at least 2 seconds. You pushed and pulled a few times because you are not focused on a balanced finish. That means you are using your hands to finesse your shots instead of trusting your swing. Still loving the journey. 23:07
Micah, Hearing the audio and thoughts shot by shot was much more interesting and a lesson. Funny, we talk to ourselves when thinking out shot on a golf shot and hearing your take is cool. Thanks for sharing!
I think these are my favorite videos that you do. I am sure I am not the only one who will say that if you keep putting time into that short game it will pay off big time.
Keep going Micah! You have lots more in you. I know the grind and the frustration but I my only advice to you is stop berating yourself, it's not healthy for your mental.
Nice round, your right its always a grind when your in unfamiliar surroundings, I an a semi pro on a bass fishing trail its the same thing if your not familiar with the lakes you on then it is very tough. it takes time on the water just like it takes time on the course to be great, you will get there just keep plugin away.
Well done Micah! I really want you to make it, Tiger once quoted “The most important club in the bag is the driver”. Get the big stick out mate and use your length to your advantage! 👍
Good seeing a lot of the comments about his hesitation to pull driver because I’m thinking the same way. He seems to struggle with those long irons off the tee, can’t see his driver being worse then the results he’s been getting. Even looking at a hybrid might help him, I think he’d find more consistency with a hybrid then 2 iron or even a 7 wood. Tiger ain’t afraid to use one neither should you
Really enjoyed the video and pulling for you. Just wondering what it will take to make your length more of advantage, particularly on the par 5's. Not trying to second guess, but curious about your thinking in this regard.
Keep thriving bro. All we can do. Your time will come. An individual with your passion and work ethic… i only see success coming your way. Keep at it bro 🤙🏼
Love this series Micah, insight is so so good. Great round, plenty of positives to build on. Mindset was 💯 throughout. Looking forward to your next pro outing. Love from Northern Ireland.
Hey Micah! I'm new to golfing and watching these videos always hypes me up to go out and get better! I don't really know how it works on a pro level, do you play in these tournaments for chances at the Korn Ferry Tour, or is that something different?? Appreciate you, good luck!!
You’re an amazing technical golfer. You play the best when you’re not over thinking all the mechanics and intricate things you need to do to hit a shot shape or carry the distance that you want to. I’m a nobody. But if i could give you a piece of advice. The next time you’re on the range. Try this little trick. I think it will help. Pick the shot shape you want to hit, aim your body , then once you start to hinge your wrists in your backswing think about the best cheeseburger you’ve ever had in your life. Then see what happens.
Improving very well. Ball striking on irons must improve before you get anywhere. Try’s to Play piercing Fades off tee’s then slinging draws for iron shots. Get really comfortable with a shot shape first like grant.
I have noticed across multiple videos you attempt a 190-195yd 7iron and come up short from the rough. If its into the wind or something there's no shame in grabbing the 6iron..
I enjoy your self-talk leading up to and after the shots... would love to see shot tracers at least on the driver... you can see the ball but on this end, it is much more difficult. Thanks for the vids! let's go!
+1 and you didn't even hit half the fairways! That's awesome man, should be proud. You get more fairways and I bet you'll be closer to the hole more often.
Yeah I really don’t get how he doesn’t get them closer. He has effortless power from those distances and should be able to just point and shoot for the pin.
dayum had to pause, that first drive full Micah airborne when he sweet spotted that thing, also is that the new stealth driver? hear they don't have a ton of forgiveness
Your putting stroke looks good and I can tell you have been working on it. Yes if you knew the greens you could have been a little more aggressive. I've been their so you have to play a little defensive. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the video.
You need to hit your driver man! Hitting 2 iron off par 5s and long par 4s makes you have tough 2nd shots and not as many birdie looks. Love following the journey!
Keep up the good work. Any chance you will do like a 2 or 4 day tournament than the single day competition? Would love to see you grind it out for days. Agree with the other comments, I like this over the RUclips style golfing format.
Great to see how you think your way around the course. More aggression with the driver, tidy up the approach play( quite a few left misses) & your good to go 👍
Great job. IMO you need to utilize your strength more. You hit a lot of 2 irons instead of driver on holes that did not appear to have that much trouble. Keep it up. Love the content.

Keep up the great work. I feel with more content after fitting coming, better shots and scores are also coming

I would agree with this statement @MicahMorris
Vouch.
Been preaching this since I started following him! Been following Scott and Decade for about 4-5 years now and it takes so much mental questioning out of your game
If I were his caddie I would lose the 2 iron most of the time.
Vouchhhhh
I've never seen so many par saves in one round. As for your your tee shots and approach shots , just remember to keep your grip pressure light ! It helps if you're feeling a little pressure. Great video Micah ⛳⛳⛳
Understated but hilarious. The part about giving blood or the hard cut to you telling the ball you were too hard on it after the tee shot. Great vid!
I love the new format Micah! You seem to talk looser and smoother when you’re playing, love to see it.
I really liked you miking up. The live comments-to-self were much better than an after-the-round review. Looking forward to the next one!
"Give 100% to everything you do, unless you're giving blood." 🤣🤣🤣 I am soooo stealing that one, Tig 🔥👍🙏🏻
The shot to shot transitions are perfect. No wasted time, trimmed to perfection!

Real time commentary is the way to go. 🏌🏾♂️⛳👍
Loved watching this. So insightful and fascinated to hear your mental processes throughout the round. Great content Michah.
Keep working on that short game big dog sky’s the limit📈
Thanks for sharing, it's fun watching the process.
I wish you would hit that driver off the tee more. It’s such a big advantage to hit the ball as far as you do
You got Micah here talking how important nutrition is for your golf game meanwhile I’m getting ready for my round with some corn dogs and a Dr Pepper😂
I played better on the back 9 yesterday after eating a hotdog at the turn lol

You’re putting great. True rolling is key. You got this. You know the only pressure you feel is what you put on yourself.
I really like the format of the video, and the audio is loads better then it was a few videos ago.
Love this format. Well done
CONGRATULATIONS ON THE MOVE TO FLORIDA. LOVE THE MIC WORK.GREAT IMPROVEMENT!

So I love a good 2 iron, but any reason to keep using it after it put you in jail after each tee shot?
I remember those days farming tournaments, ain’t no time for rest. Love ur channel and I wish you the best of luck!
Really enjoyed the video and pulling for you. Just wondering what it will take to make your length more of advantage, particularly on the par 5's. Not trying to second guess, but curious about your thinking in this regard.
Go Micah! Believing for you
Step 1 for Micah's caddie before the next round: snap his 2 iron in half.
Really cool video. It's nice that you are mic'd up but I though the commenting format was actually better. Maybe could combine the two
I really appreciate that line at 20:25 was a throw back to Napoleon Dynamite
Sharpen the short game, you can definitely play on the Korn ferry tour. Wedges need to be always inside 15ft.
Keep thriving bro. All we can do.

@bobdoessports, solid FP reference on 10th green.
the "michah-isms" are always gold
Sinking a dozen one to three foot puts from the low side for par is exactly what pros do all day long you are on the right track...great work
Love this vid with mic! But when i try watch at work (in stelth) and turn volume up when ur whispering.. 1 secound later !! Oh crap! I pushd it!!! 😂😂
Gotta play more aggressive on those short par 4s

Amazing Tig! Love that you worked on the shortgame❣️ Greets from Sweden🇸🇪❣️
Really? His short game is that of a 12 handicap
Improving very well. Ball striking on irons must improve before you get anywhere. Try’s to Play piercing Fades off tee’s then slinging draws for iron shots. Get really comfortable with a shot shape first like grant.
Quality vid I like hearing the ball go in the hole. ‘Remember you can’t make that ball go in, you have to let it.’ -Baggar Vance
Your speed control, especially on the from off the green putts, was amazing in this round. Congratulations.
Your scrambling was awesome. Great job.
I have noticed across multiple videos you attempt a 190-195yd 7iron and come up short from the rough. If its into the wind or something there's no shame in grabbing the 6iron..

Good round. Lag putts were spot on.
Love the in round commentary Micah. Keep grinding!
I play this course pretty often in Florida. Great job man, keep grindin 🏌🏽♂️⛳️
Great video Micah. My take on this: work on your wedge game! You must put those shots between 80 - 140 yards closer to the pin!
Respect! 2 putt from 40+ more than once? Killing the game.+1 is a score we all dream of on our own muni.
Micah your a beast and we are all behind you 👊🏾😎
Game trending bro! That could have easily been -3 with the putter
Micah, what are you trying to feel on those approach shots under 150. I struggle with that distance cause it’s not a full swing
saw you at moon golf the other day... welcome to the neighborhood!
Your putting stroke looks good and I can tell you have been working on it. Yes if you knew the
greens you could have been a little more aggressive. I've been their so you have to play a
little defensive. Keep up the good work. Thanks for the video.
You need to hit your driver man! Hitting 2 iron off par 5s and long par 4s makes you have tough 2nd shots and not as many birdie looks. Love following the journey!

If Micah had a good good putter he would have made so many of those putts
