Five of the six seasons previous to Jones were losing seasons (38 wins over that span). The New York Giants have been a dumpster fire. Now, let's compare Lamar's situation...head coach has been in Baltimore for nearly two decades, only two GMs in two decades. Five of six seasons previous to Lamar were winning seasons (51 wins over that span). The Baltimore defense was second in points allowed, first in yards allowed (gold for a new QB). ^This isn't me discrediting Lamar, or pretending that he and Jones are in the same tier. Simply put, pointing out how asinine it is to pretend a chef with a non-working stove, spoiled products is expected to produce the same meal as a chef cooking in a three Michelin star restaurant.
