I guess I found you after the Jane’s Addiction debacle. Myself, I’m 51 and I’ve totally changed my life in the last 6 months. I was living in a 130yr old house that was falling apart. I finally broke down and called 911 for help. I was in the “nut house’ for a week and just jumped right in to trying to get better. I got treatment and it really worked. I’m moving into a long term apartment starting next week. I just celebrated quitting alcohol a decade ago. I never thought I could get better. I thought I was doomed. But, I’ve got some serious tenacity and I’m more at peace than I’ve ever been. So,, I too am the underdog and that’s why I subbed to your channel. Congrats on 8K!
Dude 9:00 am. X5 will give u a nice boost that will be well deserved. Tuff getting exposure on yt. I only found the channel because my son took a school band trip to Nashville and I was trying to find vintage shops he could go to. Your Gibson Garage popped up. You should get some good exposure from x5. U have a cool niche no one else is really doing.
The race is not for the swift, but for those who can endureth! Keep on working hard and forward Brad, you really make a difference to all of us rockin'' the back 9!
Congrats on your well deserved success, so far. I think it's going to start snowballing and just keep growing. I just can't make the breakfast club, 8am EST is 5am where I live, in AZ and I'm not up quite that early normally 😅 But I do catch everything you post and love the channel 😊
Congrats Brad, Your vids are what has become a favorite section of what has become the daily newspaper for many in the internet age with no more actual newspapers. You should sell wigs that look like your hair with the I just woke up and made a video look. I start chemo and radiation for the 2nd time in 3 years in about 10 days and would buy one if they were priced reasonable..
Thanks so much!!! I am sending you positive vibes for your chemo and radiation. Click on the Amazon link in the video description. Then in search bad search 70’s disco hippie wig…. That is the bad Brad hair.
Hey Brad what an inspiration you are. I remember watching your first video a year ago where you talking about having the channel for years but never doing much with it but then decided to get serious about making vids and see where it takes you. 8K+ subs is amazing so here's me from the UK saying great job and maybe I will get serious with my tiny channel. Keep it up Brad.
In the old days, if you read some Rolling Stones, some downbeat and listened to hip dj’s, you knew more than the vast percentage of people about the music world. Now, I’m watching Otis Gibbs, badbrad, documentaries galore and the comments lead me to obscure depths that I never even suspected. Good times for music fans. Turns out I didn’t know Jack. That’s good, it’s been said, it’s never productive to be the best musician in a band.
I'm newer here, but man, you just put me in a positive frame of mind every time I hear you speak. Just got a copy of Sarzo's book today and look forward to more interviews here. Thank you for the hard work and dedication to the channel.

Looking forward to the X5 gig..
Don’t recall how I stumbled on your Hendersonville porch Brad-cast back several months approximately…. there was something there in your presentation of gig life & more that struck a chord. I recall maybe 4.2 or so subs & now hitting the 8K mark. Opening that portion of your life that we musicians can identify with and bonus with the occasional family cameos & Ace the newby it’s a natural fit for you. Enjoy the X5 podcast interview , have to start tuning in to them. Meanwhile showcase gig tonight, originals with cool Scottish lassie singer, Corp band rehearsal & sub gig the next Saturday.. gotta smack some low tones & review .. ongoing daily regime. Keep rolling dem vids imma watchin’.

Yeah man, people like reality and honesty they can relate to. I used to read all of Charles Bukowski books because he was so honest, which is rare. A degenerate perhaps, but honest and a good guy deep down.
Something about you really resonates with me, maybe it’s because we’re close in age, maybe it’s your extreme humbleness, but I look forward to listening to you for a long time.
Your instincts were true. I first saw you in my feed just before you left Nashville. It was the stories that hooked me. In the way you tell them. it's a gift. Some can and some can't. (I can't tell a joke to save my life.) I had checked out a couple of other videos with Nashville musicians. You tube gave you to me. Thanks YT. LOL Hope to see you on Rogan soon!
Hey Bad Brad-been watching and enjoying your grind stories. I can relate. Not the Sunset Strip but during the 80s, I was in the Florida’s version of the southern rock Sunset Strip. The central Fla grind. Congrats on your ongoing successful grind. I’m rooting for ya, bro. Duuuuude!
Feel ya on the old guy angle. Quite frankly I’m more of a realized player than when I was young and getting the great gigs in hot bands. These days the only calls I get are for old blues bands and old people cover bands. I still play young , but the guys in their thirties don’t call me anymore. It kinda sucks.
I just started watching this video, so I don’t know what else you’ll say- but you getting noticed is WELL DESERVED. It feels like you’ve always been making videos, so it’s hard to believe it’s so new for you. Your videos are engrossing, even at times when the subject seems like something that I wouldn’t think would hold my interest. Keep doing what you are doing, it adds a lot of good stuff to the world at a time where that is so needed.
Came on to catch the Saturday live stream. Forgot about the trip to do the podcast. Best of luck to you on that Brad. Looking forward to catching you the following Oct. 27th if you decide to stream. Will it be at 1 PM EST?
Hey Brad! Congratulations, sir! I'm glad I found your channel via the RUclips algorithm. Wanna gig? Get the wig, brooooooo! I'm looking forward to your X5 podcast!
What I love about content creators is that success is down to the individual and the team around them, a true reflection of value, talent and hard work rather than the traditional route through TV, radio and mainstream media where the organisation filters out people or picks and chooses who fronts their programming. Obviously this channel has it's core audience and success or failure can only be rated by similar channels: if a makeup channel or channel featuring an attractive female influencer is on it then the fact they get 1,000 times the views doesn't mean their channel is 1,000 times better, it just means the channel caters for a different, bigger, viewership segment. Brad, huge respect for you building up your channel, I see it growing and growing, bet you at the start thought "this can't possibly take off" but it has :-)
And I am so thankful to have you and all the amazing real people that tune in. Nothing worth doing is easy. But this is worth every bit of the effort. Thank you!🙏

@@badbrad My recollection of the 80's rock scene as a British person was obviously the British bands coming up and the American bands, two different things, both rock but very different. I was aware of Paul Gilbert, Yngwie, Tony McAlpine, Vinnie Moore and Racer X right from the start but things worked differently then pre fast broadband. An example is communication, if I wanted to ask someone like Brian May a good or unusual question I'd probably get a reply but back in the pre Internet days everything was filtered through music press. You'd have to either physically bump into a well known musician by accident in a hotel lobby or lift or go see them live and ask them afterwards. Some famous musicians are down to earth, some are in a bubble and unaccessible. I don't agree with fans paying thousands of dollars to get a single question and a photo with a famous musician, have they forgotten that they were once hoping to ask a question at a stage door or in a music venue frequented by musicians like the rainbow?
