I have done tip layering with other plants before but not mound layering. I think I will give his a go. How long should it take to take and get good roots. Nice video just subbed Thanks.
Very interesting. I will try this in my new garden in France. I hope that life is treating you and your family ok at this difficult time. Long live your hazelnut trees and long live Ukraine.
Hello friend, greetings from Michigan. Do you harvest the newly rooted plants in fall? I think you said you do. Do you plant them then? Or, do you hold them inside until spring? Good video and thank you! Jim
Hi Jim, many thanks for the comment. Normally, I harvest newly rooted trees in fall. However, I think that it is also possible to harvest them in early spring.

Making a strong willow tea, and watering with it early on is an experiment I am trying. Willow has chemicals that stimulate root growth.
Friedrich, thanks for your comment. Very interesting idea. I hope that your trial is successful and the roots are well developed 👍👍👍
