Your right they do 'snap' under certain conditions even in the wild. Ive seen people getting pretty badly injured or killed bye elephants both in the wild and in captivity. They do this because of the level of stress they have causeing them to 'snap' and attack. This is rare though and only has been taped and reported a few 20 times. But circuses are very disgusting and went to ONE and probebly never again.
