Sorry to remind you that the Dreamliner, which you dub as the A350 "killer" has not seen a single airplane delivered in over a year. Before this 787 was supposed to have likewise "killed" A330s a decade ago, and they are still being produced by Airbus. The reality of the scenario is that as the 80 year old technology involved keeps on maturing, and that includes the cylinder and wings design, kerosene fuel and jet engines, productivity gains become smaller and smaller as time passes. In a century of civil aviation there have just been two (2) real killer developments. One was the introduction of aluminum frames that really displaced the previous wood and canvas fuselages (now that was a real change), and secondly the introduction of jet engines that displaced piston driven predecessors, with momentous gains in speed, fuel consumption and engine reliability, the latter point mostly ignored by the general public). As a distant third we might mention 747 that substantially increased payload capacity and range, changing the way we fly. Yet not in the same league as the above two. Dreamliners, as fine aircraft as they are, will not join the list by any stretch of the imagination.
The Dreamliner has been in production for approximately 17 years give or take when they have produced somewhere around 1300 of the Jets. Sales have to drop off some time but it sounds like the next and the best or the latest and greatest whichever you prefer is already being planned and starting to be developed. I don't know the total sales figures on the a350 but I bet it's some where about half of the Dreamliner. They're both very good airplanes I think the difference is the 787 had the headstart with carbon fiber construction on a large scale.

Used to be a huge fan of Boeing (especially during the initial introduction of 777-300ER) until the cover-up of 737 Max. Until now, Boeing still denies its 737 Max flawed MCAS design despite hundreds have perished in Indonesia and Ethiopia. Sad to say, I will now try to fly Airbus as much as possible. Great to see Singapore Airlines and many others have introduced more of A350s in their fleets.
IT WAS Total wrong on the part of Boeing but also remember that, two wrongs don,t make a right, so the question is have u ever sin in ur life time before?
All the A350's are XWB (Extra Wide Body). And for now the existing variants are the A350-900XWB The A350-900ULR, the 350-1000WXB and the A350 Freighter.
Why can only one aircraft dominate and why is that Boeing with their catalogue of recent errors? They are both fine for their differing customer base. Did the Boeing Board sponsor this video-it is very biased for no reason! A killer plane (787) that catches fire and has other issues. Let the two airplanes compete together in the airliner market without unsubstantiated hype for either product.
well just look at the numbers the 787 is way better for airlines and the 350 isn’t selling as well as hoped but airbus is seeing success in the 321 (and all new planes always have some sort of problem and the 350 and Dreamliner are no exception)
@@feldons5621 yes, that's true. But personally, I understand Boeing cockpits better including buttons, switches, knobs etc. I like the feature that the yokes are mechanically linked in Boeing cockpits. You also don't have to struggle through the change after becoming a captain on a Boeing since it has yokes instead of sidesticks of Airbus.
@Jim Allen yo, every person, organisation, or company has some good and bad sides. Always look at the good things anyone has done. Either it be both Boeing or Airbus
Some of the arguments you presented are not compelling. 787 and 350 serves distinctive roles. 787 is a 767 / 330 sized airliner while 350 aims at the 777 level. 350 entered production way after 787, so how could 787 turned out to be the 350 killer when the design objective of 787 didn’t have 350 in mind in the first place?
I totally agree! Two different airplanes with different market purposes. It wont be the A350 killer but it will secure Boeing to not losing the costumers that they have now. For example KLM or BA that are operating big fleets of old 777-200ER, it will be better to upgrade to the 787-10ER than switch to the A359.
@@untoldaviation Qatar maneuvered itself into a dead end. They could have cooperated with Airbus like the rest did. Their entry in youtube about the damaged paint job and the A350 court case looks like a last effort to save face. There would be so many better ways to solve the paint issue instead of throwing a tantrum like a new born and starting litigation. I wonder how long Qatar has been in talks and negotiations with Boeing before they filed the A350 lawsuit. Some of the Qatari actions are questionable. It’s like making a case for the 777X product and against the A350 product. I can understand understand, that Airbus cut any and all business relations to Qatar since they did damage to the Airbus brand values. You can’t do that and expect you’re business partner is going onto it’s knees and bending over to you.
From inside the cabin, watching the takeoff and how the wings flex is almost like a bird taking flight. You see the wing bend and the flaps and slats also bend effortlessly is amazing.

@@anthonydecastro6938 the a350 is an amazing machine , but the 787-10 competes with the a350-900 not the 1000. They both have a Max Pax of 440. Yes the 787-10 is poor on longer range routes but that is why they want a HGW . It could boost payload and range capabilities and put it at an advantage over the a350-900 from an economics perspective. Kill is obviously not the right way to put it , but a 787-10ER will affect sales of both the a350 and 777X
Not to forget that the A350 makes Airbus money now that it has covered its development costs while the 787 continues to loose money for Boeing. Considering the sales figures for the 787 and the ever increasing likeleyhood that it will never deliver a profit as the break even point continues to move towards the projected market, and unless they get their house in order quickly will exceed the projected market, it begs the question: How much of the 787s poor (abysmal?) financial performance is due to incompetence, how much is due to poor management, how much is due to poor design, how much is due to the failure to control costs, how much is due to the illegal dumping of aircraft, and how much is down to bad luck?
@@oliver_mendi the a350 was ment to compete with the 777 , not the 777X . The 777x more especially the -9 is much larger in terms of capacity than the a350

What a bizarre commentary. No evidence was produced to indicate the 787 would lessen the appeal of the A350. The 787 is playing catch-up whereas the A350 is so far ahead already that Airbus will have released improved versions by the time Boeing gets around to any rumoured variants.
flown on both and find the A350 far superior (IMO) also to get the B787-9 to do the ULR flights ie PER-LHR SYD-DFW etc the aircraft carries around 220-240 pax max to get the range and if bad weather enroute they offload eith 20+ pax or leave baggage behind to make the distance where the A350-900 dosnt have the same limitations
Boeing will do just fine against airbus any day !! Maybey they should learn how to paint these planes !! Here comes boing the a350 will take a back seat to the 787 !! I flew on both planes and the 787 got my vote !! But I must say the a350 is a good plane too !!
It's been mentioned in previous comments, but the Dreamliner isn't killing *anything* if no one wants to take delivery of their airframes. The 787 is an amazing airplane - from a passenger's perspective - but the profound lack of QA at Boeing is on track to turn Dreamliner into the next Tristar (you youngins feel free to look that one up). Or not...we'll see 🤷🏾♂️
I have visceral pain from memories of banging my head while servicing the lower-level galley through the hobbit-sized door on the Tristar back when I worked catering on the ramp for Eastern at JFK back in the ‘70s. But it did have this seriously cool elevator for the catering carts! I got only one flight on.a TWA Tristar from BOS to ORD in 1980. Cool airplane!

The title is clearly click-bate. You really have to read a bit more: there is no A350-800 :-) Also adding 1.000 NM to the 787-10 will not be sufficient to compete on range with any of the A350's. And Airbus has already announced that it's working on a NEO version of its A350's.
Huh? I've never seen a more biased title in my life. The 787 is not even close to the A350 simply because they are different aircraft which complement each other, it's kinda dumb to try and compare.
He is talking about the 787-10 HGW... a piece of strange news from Boeing said that it will produce a new 787-10 HGW ‘High Gross Weight’ along with the new 777X... In the news, they said that is to compete with A350-900. For me was very strange, a stupid move after the money and improvements made in the 777X... I think that they announce it to cover the delay in the production of the 787 (for the quality defects) and the delay in the certification of 777X, asking for more flights to check the security. But I think as you, it is a very biased title until he started the history, I think that his mistake was not talking directly about the new model 787-10 HGW ‘High Gross Weight’

@@loodwich It isn't actually a stupid move, this video has just lied to you by implying that it's designed to replace the 777-8. The real reason why Boeing announced it is because the 777X doesn't actually cover the A350-900's market segment. The smallest variant, the -8, competes with the A350-1000 and the -9 is an even larger aircraft. Since production of the 777-200ER has ended, Boeing currently has nothing to compete with the A350-900. As a result Boeing announced the 787-10 HGW to compete with the A350-900 and fill the gap between the 787 and 777X families
Aviation industry is way to complex to call the 787 a A350 killer, the performance metrics, although important, are not the deciding factor. For starters, many airlines (like Delta) are being forced to buy the A321 XLR as Boeing offers no comparable aircraft meaning these airlines will be more open to expand their Airbus fleet as certifying A321 pilots to fly the A350 is more cost efficient than certifying them (assuming no prior Boeing experience) for the 787. Second, the A350 has mostly been very successful manufacturing-wise, sure there is the paint problem now, but that is a problem that will most likely be solved on future deliveries whereas the new 787s still need to be developed so airlines might opt to get an A350 today as they have good certainty on what to expect compared to the nebulous promises from Boeing which has had manufacturing and certification issues with several aircraft over the last years.
Very US perspective, basically two good aircraft, 787 hampered by poor quality manufacturing in SC and terrible user experience without proper window blinds, A350 with surface finish issues. My guess is surface finish issues will be easier to solve in the long run. The 777 will sell well for a long time!
Incorrect information contained in the video. Air New Zealand has ordered the B787-10 'extended range' with deliveries starting 2024. Airbus had cancelled the A350-800 in 2017 when Aeroflot and Asiana converted their A350-800 orders to the A350-900's. When Qantas orders the A350-1000 for Project Sunrise, it will be the A350-1000 'extended range. The current variants of the A350 are - A350-900, A350-900ulr, A350-1000 and A350F.
Your "comparison" left me lacking important info about the A350. You devoted about 75% of your screen time to the B787 even repeating some of it twice. I don't consider this a comparison, I think it's more of a B787 Sales Pitch for an airplane that doesn't even yet exist against one that is already proving itself. Boeing isn't even allowed by the FAA to deliver their existing completed 787s right now.
You need to change your title. Or travel in both of them and check their spec. It's 2 different size segment and route segments. And if you want range. Check the 900ulr.
A330Neo just left the room 😂 A350-800 was cancelled. Should have mentioned that. Also the A350 was never a direct alternate to the B787. It is actually the A330Neo that makes it more of a competition. A350 slots btw 787 and 777. Furthermore the rumoured 787-9ER/-10ER can get closer to the A350 in terms of range and capacity.
The 737 max flew for over 1 year and thousands of hours, safely, here in the USA. No problems?. Why didn’t MCAS error show up here? We fly 737’s like 24/7 here.

As a passenger I find that very long flights wear me out; it takes a day for me to recover, so flying non-stop doesn't really save me any time. It's best to get a window seat where I can prop a pillow against the interior wall panel and sleep with some support. Getting stuck with a center-aisle seat on a long flight is absolute misery. But the airlines are excited about scheduling long flights, and Boeing and Airbus are providing all the long-range options their customers could ever want.
Airbus is also making improvements to the 350. They are now building an updated version with even more range, reduced weight wider cabin and the option for 10 abreast.
This video doesn't address issues like cabin comfort. A350 is way more comfortable with 9 abreast seating compared to a 787. The window dimming function on a dreamliner can be locked by crew and I had this on a day flight when crew were trying to make people sleep. When we arrived at 1030pm at our destination I couldn't sleep for days with my body clock blitzed.
Ten years out of date, A350-800?? Following Boeings travails over the last three year’s the chances of them competing effectively with Airbus is small but good luck. From a customer’s point of view, “If It’s a Boeing, I ain’t going “
And today you show the other news of why I am very worried about the 777X... If you take a look this new model will compete directly with the same range and capacity of 777-9 (As you point out in your video) The 787 was the plane developed for the same market as the old 767. And that is why Boeing started the development of the 777X and is now finishing the fly certificate for the new models 777-8 and 777-9 expected for 2023. For me, the 787-10 HGW is the 777X killer. Soo... Why Boeing will announce a new development of a 787 that will compete directly with a plane that is finishing right now?
@@untoldaviation You are improving... When I woke this morning and saw the title of this episode, I freaked a little... For me, B787 and A350 are in different leagues. The only mistake you made in the present chapter is that you didn't explain in any part that you were talking about the proposal to develop a new Boeing 787-10 HGW. Only the people that we are interested in all the news of commercial aviation know about it.
777X Last September while a FAA pilot monitored onboard during testing experienced a uncommanded pitch-down event similar to the Max MCAS problem. Given the toxic corporate-workforce relationship at Boeing, I feel a hell of a lot safer in an Airbus (double brownie points if the bird is assembled in Europe). If it's Boeing, I ain't going!
I really hate videos like this. Both aircraft are amazing in their own right. The 787 is great if you dont need capacity and is better for thin longer routes. The A350 is great if you need extra caoacity and payload. They both compliment each other. Videos like this just bring out the fan boys who talk a load of rubbish.
Here's the thing. I am a retired pilot. Once you are Type Rated on a, well...."type" and a new model is introduced? We just need what's called "difference" training. So, compared to moving from a B777 to, say, an A350? Huge training issues.
Some suggestions. When comparing stats of 2 or more planes you can put the numbers tgt and not show at different instances. Will help to make it clearer at one glance.
Yet airlines are cancelling Boeing orders and buying Airbus due to Boeing's shockingly poor performance in production quality and systems choices of recent years. I have been a Boeing fan for many years however, until they dump a huge chunk of their board and management and the company gets back to the essential safety driven and quality culture they used to operate under, they are on a not so slow road to collapse.
Boeing has been a dumpster fire since they let the old McDonnell Douglas management run things after the merger. 787 was a great design that is now victim to production quality issues. 777X keeps getting delayed and orders may be cancelled soon. KC-46 has been a disaster and making the Pentagon regret reopening the Tanker X bid after political pressure. The whole MAX/MCAS fiasco was another example of the bean counters running a company that used to be run by the world's greatest engineers.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I have the impression that this video lacks objectivity. It sounds like a Boeing commercial. God knows I’m a Boeing fan. At 4:10 you indicate that that the 787 uses fly by wire control systems. So does the A350. The A320 family was the first airliner to feature digital fly-by-wire flight control system. Moreover, there is nothing new under the sun, and there is too much repetition. I think the video can be improved with a fair and objective comparison.
787 sales have been flat last few years...see if they pick up soon.. Really ,not in same class ....yess 787 10 does compare to the 350 9...in capacity.. See if the ER version sales show numbers like your predicting!!
@Harold Yeoh the 777X will have 18" in a 10 abreast from 17" . The 787 will probably get 18" seats to by making the cabin a bit wider . Anyways when airbus release the a350-neo , Boeing will release the 787X .
Having flown Qatar Airways Business Class on both the A350 and B787 (i.e. a direct comparison between two aircraft as opposed to two airlines or two classes of travel) the only “killer” is the A350 - the A350 annihilates the B787! And as for the B787’s ‘Dreamliner’ tag - what pretentious nonsense.
To clarify....when Type-Rated one type of airplane? We get trained on the "differences" we fly in the Simulator, And then we're done. Sorry, but to remind? Were well trained. Been there, done that.

A350 and 787 won't kill each other. But A330neo is somewhat Boeing need to care about because it will be direct competitor to 787-9 and 787-10, and Most airlines already operate A330 are very happy about it because pilots does not need much training and l lot of parts are shared with old A330.
with all its problems at the moment, it remains to be seen how far Boeing gets with all the 787's. What surprised me is the mentioned fact that the cockpit of the 787 is way different from all other Boeing models. to me, that sounds like an awful lot of extra training for 787-pilots-to-be. But I am not a pilot or expert, so could someone clarify that aspect a bit? i dont think at all it will be an A350-killer, though
Not sure where the poster got their "facts," but the A350 isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Both are great aircraft, but both also serve their specific niche ... A350 is quieter than the 787 even though it isn't night and day. The A350 is also extremely fuel efficient, it actually hurts 777-300ERs in wide body in the -1000 variant. In the end airlines will decide which aircraft will best suit their needs and both are selling extremely well with the A350 having a smoother entry into service with few issues. This is an opinion piece only and should be taken as such ...
I have a few points to make after seeing this Video. 1. The A350-800 was already cancelled in 2014 2. Only the 787-10 and the A350-900 are comparable in size, so the 787-8, -9 and the A350-1000 are far away from comparing against each other. 3. Im sure that the A350 is not intended as an A330 replaced, its simply to big for doing so 4. Saying the 787-10 and A350-900 seat 440 people is not realistic for most airlines, espacially if your saying the A350-1000, which is clearly bigger than the Dreamliner or the A359, "only" seats 351 people 5. You introduced the ER/LR/HGW Boeing Versions like some major update timproving the plane itself, but its really mostly the increased range (I only have the 777-200LR in mind with major differences). Also does Airbus provide similar Versions on their planes (e.g. A321LR/XLR or the A350ULR you mentioned)
The difference is the a350-ULR sacrifices payload to to increase range . By carrying less passengers/cargo the ULR can fly longer with more tanks . the 787-10 ER won't sacrifice payload and passenger numbers . It will fly longer with the same maximum payload as the 787-10
Airbus is selling more 350s than it can build at the moment. Sure, the 787 and 350 compete with each other - but much less than you would think. Use cases for each are often different, especially if you are an airline that is already a mostly Boeing or mostly Airbus shop (ie want to minimise the training and maintenance budget). The 350 is eating the lunch of older Boeing models, not the 787 - but the 787 is definitely not eating the 350's lunch. Especially as the 350 has already gone for more variants of the base model to fill more niches than Boeing will; it could do this because it in so much better a financial position than Boeing (putting lots of -+money into development is no stress). The 350ULR in particualr looks like making a lot of money for Airbus.
Wouldn't it be great if the 787 could actually be delivered? I mean the SC plant is a mess. The 350 paint issues aside is a good 777 competitor and you can actually have one delivered.
The IGW versions are more likely a 777x killer than a A350 killer. You're quite of in a couple of details. For instance the A350-800 doesn't exist. It only did on paper. The issue with the 777x is that 1. The 777-8 doesn't sell. 2. It is a heavy bird and therefore need a higher average pax payload to become efficient. 3. It is years and years behind certification schedule which may lead to Emirates cancelling the 777-9 order or bringing the order down to 40-50 units where it already brought is down to 115 from 150. Leaving the 777x project with an enormous gap in orders and may never become profitable. That's why Boeing is rethinking the 787 IGW variety over and over again.
Emirates will cancel the 777X order to get what exactly? Does airbus have an alternative to the 777-9 . Nooo they don't . The 787-10ER will hamper sales of the 777-8 but not the -9X. It could also steal orders from the a350-900
An A350 killer? Hmm not sure - none have been delivered for 12 months. Also Qantas I notice has placed a massive Airbus order including 12 A350 - ultra long range as Boeing failed to supply suitable 787’s. Also not really any knockout blow to kill A350. Both are great aircraft.
That's a new one - you state the A350 - 900 series uses the same Rolls-Royce engine as the A350 - 1000 series! RR must have wasted hundreds of millions in designing separate engines then? There's more holes in this video than there are in a string vest.
Until now, Boeing still denies its 737 Max flawed MCAS design despite hundreds have perished in Indonesia and Ethiopia. Sad to say, I will now try to fly Airbus as much as possible. Why can only one aircraft dominate and why is that Boeing with their catalogue of recent errors? They are both fine for their differing customer base.

I think the best place for this video is the bin ... along with most of todays Boeings.
787 sales have been flat last few years...see if they pick up soon..
Really ,not in same class ....yess 787 10 does compare to the 350 9...in capacity..
See if the ER version sales show numbers like your predicting!!
its a great aircraft for sure. thanks for watching
@Harold Yeoh neo means new engine option, a350 doesnt need new engines they already are the most efficient
@Harold Yeoh the 777X will have 18" in a 10 abreast from 17" .
I wouldn’t consider the 787 to be a “killer” of the A350, but if Boeing introduces a potential 787-10ER variant, then this might be true
To clarify....when Type-Rated one type of airplane? We get trained on the "differences" we fly in the Simulator, And then we're done. Sorry, but to remind? Were well trained. Been there, done that.
BOEING- dominating European skies since 1941...
Hope you are enjoying your job as a Boeing salesman. You are really pushing the truth here
I’m not too sure many of this video’s viewers are looking to buy a multi million dollar plane
I'm assuming this guy works for Boeing?
Well, the only thing off the top of my head I can remember the Dreamliner killing so far is Norwegian Air Shuttle's long haul operations.
The Dreamliner is THE BEST aircraft I've EVER flown on. So quiet and such a soft ride. All the 1st class amenities on American domestic routes are next to none. Long live the 787.
for you to say that then you have clearly never flown on an A380 or 350
we hope so too. thanks for watching
@@ant2312 here you go again insect, you just can’t stand to hear anybody say anything good about Boeing. I bet the title of this video gagged you good🤣🤣🤣
@@ant2312 I've flown on the A380. In business class on 2 airlines and economy. I hated it. Headache every time. Whilst I havnt flown in an A350 I totally agree with this post. 787 is by far the most comfortable plane I've ever flown in. That flexible wing just soaks up turbulence and the low cabin altitude and humidity really make a difference. I live at sea level in a humid climate so really notice that.
@@johnsutcliffe3209 - Having flown on the B787 and A350, the A350 is my preferred aircraft due to the increase cabin width. The B787 in 9 abreast seating feels cramped compared the the A350.
I read the title and was surprised to hear an adult doing this Boeing marketing presentation..
Singapore 🇸🇬 Airlines Itself has Operating 30 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner and its Subsidiary Scoot Airlines has Operations with the Smaller Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 Dreamliner Aircraft.
Qantas have just ordered a fleet of A350-1000 XLR aircraft. The 21 hr range will do the Sydney- London route. Crunch the numbers; in range and seat costs unfortunately the B787 was not competitive.
A350 is getting way better now it’s the best
If now it's a tie, Airbus A350 is better longhaul flight, while Boeing 787 is better on shorthaul. But Boeing 787 has more potential, they can beat A350 easily by re-engine and upgrade the wings. It will totally destroy if they will lengthen the landing gear and make engine bigger.
I'll fly on an A350 anyday over a 787, A350's are screwed together properly!
Actually, it’s “glued together properly” ;-)
Did you seriously compare a B787-10 with an A350-900 instead of the A350-1000? How odd
Yes, and that's one of the few things this video got correct
Not bad for an aeroplane wich has been out of production since last May, due to assembly problems. Boeing having problems certifying B737-7 MAX, B737-10 Max and B777X, not bad for the only king/ruler in the aviation kingdom.
problems certifying 737-7 737-10 and 777x? the 777x is only due to delays from pandemic, 737-7 has no problems to date (just continuing testing with successful test flights) and 737-10 Boeing have sent in a team to speed up the certification by years end
@@nickolliver3021 I understand, the B737-7 has been flying succesfully on test flights since 2018, but still not been certified in 2022. B737-10 if is not certified by years end, unless congress prevents it, is heading to the garbage bin, B777x was expected to start production in 2017, pre pandemic, an aeroplane, which has not have a single sales to any USA companies. B787 development cost was 32 billion and counting and currently its production suspended. Sorry man but if Boeing likes to be the only king/ruler on this industry needs to do much better in my opinion.
@@manny8265 The 737-7 should be certified next year as she has not had any drawbacks and attention in the media recently. its all good hopes for the -7. The B737-10 however congress will not stop its certification process and neither is it not heading to the garbage bin. With the pandemic being a part in the delays and certification processes of both aircraft 2023 should be the final year and the two will be certified and cleared to fly with customers. the 787 is close to having production resume and deliveries to begin again sometime this month or by summer. It is doing everything they can to get both certified by next year/ by years end for 737-10. don't loose any hope! :)
thank you for watching
@@nickolliver3021 The uncommanded pitch-down experienced during testing the 777x in Sept 2021 freaked the onboard FAA inspector pilot out so much that certification has been delayed to the end of 23 or later this and quality problems in SC plant have nothing to do with Covid. Stop being a fanboy and do some research. Boeing's last great plane the 777 not the yet to be approved 777x. World Airbus sales are killing Boeing and only US subsidies and business practices are keeping it breathing. I flew on them (Boeing) for 50 years and stopped last year as it's easy in my part of CA to catch a nice safe Airbus or Embrarer 175 for shorter flights.
I go for the 787
6:03 he says it’s meant to replace the A330-300. But if that’s the case, why are they coming out with the A330neos?
Because it's not meant to replace the A330-300. The A350 was designed to replace the A340 family and directly compete with the original 777 family
@@aarondynamics1311 I know, I’m questioning why the creator of the video said what he said at the timestamp
U did not mentioned the a350 900 ulr version which SQ uses and is one of not the biggest operator of the a350. The issue is not what Boeing can deliver the issue is they got so much of supply chain and engine issues to the point that Sir Tim Clark has already said their 777X has been delayed already almost 4 years and has said if he does not get it soon he might just cxl the entire giant order! As the saying goes just get their act tgt before trying to do more stuff! There is a saying that if it ain't Boeing I ain't flying..these days it should be if it's Boeing I ain't flying .
Maybe it's the other way round. By the time Boeing will be able to produce another B787 or even the 777X, If and when the time comes, A350 has already dominated the orders. It should be A350 the killer of both B787 & B777X 🤣 BTW, Boeing produces great aircrafts without a doubt. But no matter what you say, compare apples to apples, Airbus' technology in general is way ahead of Boeing. In my humble opinion✌
Orders
A350- 900
787 - 1500
777X- 350
A330neo - 300.
Who is dominating here ?
@@mmm0404 After 5mos. maybe... But no. of orders in Boeing is insignificant. And besides, A/C orders are running numbers as it is continuous. Let alone Boeing certifications. It's a matter of if and when they can deliver ✌
I seriously doubt that the 787 will end the A350!!!! Seriously doubt that 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
I'm still waiting for my A350 which I was scheduled for to Los Angeles with Virgin last year but changed to B787-9. I'll decide once flown A350 which I prefer. In terms of size to me A350 900 and B787-10 are similar
I would fly A350 if given the choice boing have got a very bad safety record in my book i normally like to get there in 1 peace Thanks
How many of these where delivered in the last 12 months?
Man even aviation youtuber don't know that they aren't competitor
This is interesting .. coming out kicking the 350 AB… notice the person producing this doesn’t talk much about the 777 .. I wonder way !?
A350 and 787 won't kill each other. But A330neo is somewhat Boeing need to care about because it will be direct competitor to 787-9 and 787-10, and Most airlines already operate A330 are very happy about it because pilots does not need much training and l lot of parts are shared with old A330.
The 787-10 has more capacity ,both cargo and seats than the a350-900
with all its problems at the moment, it remains to be seen how far Boeing gets with all the 787's.
1. The A350-800 was already cancelled in 2014
2. Only the 787-10 and the A350-900 are comparable in size, so the 787-8, -9 and the A350-1000 are far away from comparing against each other.
3. Im sure that the A350 is not intended as an A330 replaced, its simply to big for doing so
4. Saying the 787-10 and A350-900 seat 440 people is not realistic for most airlines, espacially if your saying the A350-1000, which is clearly bigger than the Dreamliner or the A359, "only" seats 351 people
5. You introduced the ER/LR/HGW Boeing Versions like some major update timproving the plane itself, but its really mostly the increased range (I only have the 777-200LR in mind with major differences). Also does Airbus provide similar Versions on their planes (e.g. A321LR/XLR or the A350ULR you mentioned)
great points. we'll take care of these things in the future videos. thanks for watching
The difference is the a350-ULR sacrifices payload to to increase range . By carrying less passengers/cargo the ULR can fly longer with more tanks .
the 787-10 ER won't sacrifice payload and passenger numbers . It will fly longer with the same maximum payload as the 787-10
@@mmm0404 The 787-10 ER doesnt exist.

Both is good
Wouldn't it be great if the 787 could actually be delivered? I mean the SC plant is a mess. The 350 paint issues aside is a good 777 competitor and you can actually have one delivered.
Yeah well no matter what you say the 787 sells a LOT more planes than the a350 ever wished it could. So thete!
Go Boeing!!
The 787 never fails me
P.S I am the 401 commentator
I still like the 350 best! Saludos d Mexico
The tittle of the video should be called: 787 is a330/330-8/900 neo killer .a350 vs 777/X .and a350ULR battle 777-200lr .
Did you forget to mention this video was sponsored by Boeing?
After flying both, in my opinion (as a passanger), the A350 is a better product =)
Would never subscribe nor watch the shear bias view.
Any airline having Boeing A/C on order will have doubts in the back of their minds. They will all have to do extra due diligence…
That's a new one - you state the A350 - 900 series uses the same Rolls-Royce engine as the A350 - 1000 series!
RR must have wasted hundreds of millions in designing separate engines then?
There's more holes in this video than there are in a string vest.
There's also a 787-9ER Boeing looking to produce .
