Thank you for these clear instructions. The hard part is securing the zipper opening so I used white duct tape to hold the zipper pull to the hose to keep the bugs out. Thank you again!
I shudder to think how long it would have taken me to install this window seal had it not been for this gentleman. As it was, it still took 3 attempts to attach the material to the velcro because my window is shaped differently and the opening for the AC hose ended up in the wrong place. So I then started from where I needed the exhaust to exit and all is well, and it required a lot less time and a lot less frustration because, thanks to this video, I understood the logic and the mechanics. Bravo, sir!

Thanks for clarifying. For sizing, the manufacturer always says to measure just one side + top and bottom length. Obviously that doesn’t work, as you’ve explained you have to add all four sides.

I have just got a simular seal and was wondering how to deal with the handles. Your great video seems to deal with that well. Thanks. My instructions say only put sticky tape on 3 lengths of the frames, omitting the hinge edges. I am happy with your method but do you have any thoughts on this?
Great video, was able to easily install the kit following your detailed instructions. I used a few pieces of the left over Velcro and attached the excess fabric to the outer and upper edges of the window frame. Thanks a lot for this video.

Most helpful. Most focus on windows that open inwards, not outwards, and even when manufacturer provides the casement they are not showing you how it works for this type of window.
Works good so far easy to install used an elastic band to tie up the extra. the area where the hose connects still has a lot of heat you cant fix that. One thing is that it does not make a good zipper seal, I'm using a towel to cover the holes and blinds to block the sun, but still room is cold as F. I cant tie wrap it as I dont like leaving it in the window all night so I put it in every morning when I need it. Great video thanks for the help

1. Draw a circle for the head and a bigger circle for the body.
