Hi Diecast Dude, you should visit Hobby 2000 at Luik / Liège ( Quai de la Boverie ). More than enough for you to film ( cars, rc cars, airplanes, trucks, F1, trains, scalextric etc...). An old diecast shop like you don’t find them anymore. They only speak French, but that shouldn’t hold you back. Groeten, Niels 😉

Citroen ZX Rallye!! Bburago point of reference, they cost 3.99 over here, but those are older design boxes.
Beautiful Alfa Romeo Montreal, they have 3 of them, i've never ever had seen a 1/43 diecast of it. Those are cool but i'm not sure if they still are 1/43rd, Minichamps Stratos "3", Lancia Beta "66". the 1/18 Lambo Sian is a dream for the price in comparison to other brands, I will bet you money that box has an official Lamborghini color changing sticker on the back! The Dinky models you saw near the cash counter were done by Matchbox, when they acquired rhe Dinky brand name back in the late 1980s. MB tried to „capture the spirit of the original Dinky toys era“. They issued 35 models between 1988 and 1995.
So they are kinda special?
@@DiecastDudeofficial Unfortunately, not really (I think, "real" Dinky collectors don't see them as Dinkys, but as Matchbox models - and younger collectors don't even know the Dinky brand name...). On ebay, they are between 5€ and 20€ - even for boxed models...

Whoa, diecast shopping with a view. This is an unexpected bonus. Did the ones in the window appear affected by sun? I love that black BMW with the trailer (Shuco). Those old Norev in the blister cards were pretty interesting. That GT40 in the window looked very similar to the one I saw recently.
The store is most of the time in the shadow but they have big sunscreens. I think the GT 40 is the same as the one from your video 🙂
You did so well filming for so long at one time in the store - you could be a surgeon with those steady hands! Along the front of the store window was a tricky place to get to, but you did great man. The quality of those larger diecast models was amazing, but trying to collect those would quickly create a storage problem (and a financial issue) for me LOL! What a beautiful location for the shop, so close to the beach, the owners are "living the dream" by the look of it ; )
The camera is doing a lot of work for me... 30 years ago you would probably say I'm nuts when I told you that there is a device that makes high quality video's, photos, you can call, send messages, order what ever you want, big encyclopaedia and watch nudes for free😅 Next week I'm going back to the diecast military store and hope he will give permission to film🍀🙏🙂 Also a new diecast goldmine!

Cool video, but the prices there are very bad! For example the darkblue S650 Maybach Cabriolet Norev 1:18 costs in the store 149,95€!! Wow you can get that car in the internet for only between 80€ and 90€.
agreed seems overpriced... That 1/18 Spark gt3 rs is 899 euro..
I'm going to another store in Belgium soon where I can compare the price of Norev

Pullman costs 900 euros.. Wow thats a huge one.. Bburago and Norev are still the best. Kyosho is just expensive but wuth limited models in the market. I ask you, why we don't see much of the new Rolls Royce in the stores???

Either way both countries have good autobuses netherlands 🇳🇱 VDL and DAF, AND I THINK Belgium 🇧🇪 had jonckheere a coachbuilder now Dutch owned vdl groep I like how most vehicles from the netherland related to public transport like fokker aircraft as well the daf lf 45 is made in leyland England

@@DiecastDudeofficial exactly! You would think a big city like LA or New York would have everything? In the 70s I saw a lot more diecast models in toy stores. Lots of Corgi stuff back in the day. Not sure if the market has changed in the US over the years?

So, years ago I was watching an American broadcast of the Belgain GP at Spa, they sent a camera crew to the town or village nearby. They showed a store that was racing oriented. Lots of F1 diecast. Can't tell you the name of the store because I don't know. Does such a store still exist near Spa? If so, you need to go check it out. I am assigning you a diecast mission, do you accept?🤣

Hi Paul, sadly the store in the town of Francorchamps doesn’t exist anymore since 7 or 8 years (or longer). I went there a couple of times, but it was really expensive.
