    I’ve been telling people about Josh Simmons for the bears. Everyone says he’s not worth top 10. I think he is a future pro bowler/all-pro

      Yeah as long as that knee is recovering properly I tend to agree with you

      Josh Simmons not in the first round. There is no OT prospect in the first 15 picks.

      @@RogueFootball DL is gonna be the first pick. I also like Simmons, but he may fall to early 2nd round.

      I would take Carter or Starks at 9 and trade back up to 23 in the 1st for Simmons. The Bears have to figure GM, HC, OC and DC first. I also Hampton at RB who pro comp is Josh Jacobs. Who’s fit perfectly next to Swift as a #1 back. Then, TE Fannin Bowling Green or Grey Zabel C out North Dakota State at 77. Fannin’s pro comp is Isiah Likely who could play the same role next to Kmet as Likely does for Mark Andrews in Ravens offense.

    I absolutely love airsery. His hands aren't developed yet and very often out of sinc with his lower body but i just love the physical tools, length and especially the feet. He has the quickest feet I've seen for a guy his size, which for me is the most valuable thing. Also i thoight he looked very cabable against abdul carter - good to have on the resume

    IMO Cameron Williams is a bright spot at the OT position in this class.

    Unfortunately, I am a Bears fan. A lot of mock drafts I run Edge Abdul Carter, two tackles Campbell and Banks drop to me at 9. I do prefer Josh Simmons over Campbell or Banks. I believe the Bears should take the 36th or 40th pick and trade back into mid 1st round to draft Simmons. Then take Carter or Starks safety out of Georgia with the 9th if that happens. With the remaining 2nd round pick you can draft Jonah Savaiinaea to play LG to rebuild left side of the OL. Possibly at 3rd rd 77th pick take Grey Zabel at center. The problem is we don’t know what offense or defense scheme we’ll be running. That’s how I would handle it.

      If the bears take a safety with the 10th overall pick with all the needs on the offensive and defensive line I will not be ok 😂

      That means they were fixed in Free Agency. Don’t get wrong but the top two prospect that are called are not tackles but guards and centers. Which are drafted in the mid first round or later. Brisker isn’t coming back. If stay at 10. You take best available player. If all the top D Line or O Line are gone. He’s one of the best available and a need.

    Just for your opinion, new england is probably taking wideout or defense with that number three, but new england is probably gonna be taking a tackle in the high first, early second. Who do you see them going or who would you say? Just curious so i can look up videos cause lowe aint the answer and we need a left tackle badly.

    i'm frustrated with the narrative that this isn't a good tackle class. like i think overall i'm perplexed by a majority of projections inside with guys i think would be good tackles. i feel kind of lost to the context of Taliese Fuaga is a tackle and he's a 1st rounder, but Dominick puni is a guard, and they have darnnear the same arm length, even granted that guard is puni's best spot. the margin is so thin. Both of them because of length may be better guards ideally simply because of length, but theres no reason they can't play tackle at the highest levels, and so when people look at this class and they project Charles Grant inside as a guard, i lose that plot, his arm length is crazy. i think he's a tackle. Jonah Savallnaea i think is a tackle and i love them as players period. at face value, yeah Will Campbell is a more ideal guard, but its not like if i put him at tackle he's this embarrassing disaster, i've said he's Ryan Ramczyk 2.0. if i just stick every inside projection at tackle and make them play their way inside. (gray zabel included) that's like 4-5 of those guys are fringe top 20 players arguably, and that's without mentioning Cameron Williams, who is raw but has as much upside as a tackle that someone can have, i like him and his traits better than his teammate kelvin even, who tbf i share ur concerns on, but is also worth being open minded about on the edge. if Josh simmons medical Checks out he's a wonderful prospect as well. in all fairness, My top tackle in this class is a guy named Jude Bowry, out of boston college, who probably won't enter but lets say he did, i think thats a special player. My OT2 is Josh Conorly jr. i think he's a top 10 pick Lock in this class. if i put all these different types of guys together thats like 8 arguably top 32 players, and were not even talked about a lot of these guards, who are worth a look at tackle. Maybe its just me, i personally curious if Jaedan Roberts can Hang on the edge. his measurables and traits scream technically raw tackle. Theres guys like Xavier Truss who, i'm not deadset is a tackle but i'm not nervous about if i have to play him there. Jonah Monheim has proven he can play all 5 spots at different stretches. these guys have tremendous value potentially. i know its eye of the beholder and i'm bias to my own POV but i LOVE This class of tackles.

      That was quite the reply! Thank you so much. I honestly just am trying to put guys where they make the most sense and I think Campbell, Banks, Savaiinaea, Milum, and a few others make more sense inside. Appreciate you

      @@RogueFootball explain savallnaea for example from ur perspective if you could, what is it? is it length because for me, theres a place for a tackles like him. Jedrick Wills Types, build wise and to me he can dance, he can really move to me, so i don't get if he hits the arm length threshold why a guy like him wouldn't be a tackle?

    • @RogueFootball
      @RogueFootball  Месяц назад

      there’s a sloppiness to his overall game that I don’t see playing at tackle. He doesn’t move super well laterally in space either. I’m also generally concerned that he gives up his chest a ton.

    • @tvtda1
      @tvtda1 Месяц назад

      @@RogueFootball that's fair, ty for that perspective, i think i'm just of the mind that i've seen stiffer more linear guys like matt peart, or petit friere, and more lighter guys like andre dillard get a shot to stick at tackle. i've seen worse athletes stay at tackle too. like havenstein, or mitchell schwartz, and i've even seen elgton jenkins come from center and be solid at tackle and granted he's special but i can't understand why people would see an athletic nimble big man like a savallnaea and not wanna play him at tackle. the niners are playing colton mckivitz at right tackle for god sakes, these guys entering the league deserve at least a shot to stick. id rather them fail their way to guard than to force them there.

      He did not say that, this draft, however has a plethora of tweener guys, who are lack of length, either in wingspan, or arm length, projecting them inside. Especially comparing it to the 2024 NFL Draft, OT1 this year, most likely Banks, would not even be OT3 in last years, and Campbell projects inside like Peter Skoronski.
