- 💡 The Royal Palace of Brussels is the Belgian King’s administrative residence and main workplace, where he works daily with his staff. In his office at the Brussels palace, the King receives the representatives of political institutions, foreign guests (heads of state, ambassadors) and other guests. The other members of the Royal Family also have an office at the Brussels Palace, where their staff work. The Palace comprises also prestige reception rooms where various activities of the King and the Royal Family are organised (work meetings and roundtables, receptions, concerts, lunches, etc.).
⚠️ This video was made in accordance with Belgian law. I am a certified drone pilot, and I received all the necessary approvals from flight control, the Brussels police and the royal palace.
🎫 As is custom following Belgium's National Day, the Royal Palace in the heart of the capital opens its doors to the public for free for about one month.
😍 This video is part of my series 'Discover Belgium'. Belgium is a small western European country with lots of things to offer. These videos are an answer to the question what hidden gems to visit in Belgium.

This is great footage - thank you for sharing. I understand there are restrictions on drone flying around certain sensitive areas (e.g. Royal palaces). I am hoping to obtain drone footage of the statue of Godfried van Bouillon (which, of course, is close to the palace) - do you know if this is a restricted area?
You need to obtain a permit to be able to fly there yes. They will explain in detail where you can and cannot fly (f.e. Above the palace is a no go)
@@TerraMunditravel where do I apply for the permit?
how aer you?, you did beautiful -😌
Thanks! I'm great :)
