amazing seeing Cotton, Hilton, Buckles and Hunter all together
“Best caddy I ever had son” obviously proves more then one caddy. How did no one pick this up in series 2
Lenny James set a really high standard for this show, from the very beginning...
Lenny James is a brilliant actor. In the last episode of season 6 when all the pieces are being put together and the case is finally being closed they lay out photos of all the past “bent coppers” in descending order with Gates appearing last. That wasn’t by accident or to feed into the narrative. I think it was a homage to all the actors who made the series so enjoyable to watch.

Steve did the right thing here. But his explanation for what happened to Gates makes no sense.
nor did the explanation over tommy hunter. I don't get how he got off.
@@shanefolan My guess is that, at some point between Season 1 and 2, Tommy changed his mind and decided to become a rat for some reason.
@@neonatalpenguin I finished season 1 this morning and loved it but some of the plots were either badly explained, plot holes, or illogical. So for instance I don't get how they had evidence on Tommy yet the bent cop in the last scene said he'd get him off although he didn't explain how. Other holes were how the kid tried to cut off the policeman's fingers yet after a cop interview was allowed to go home to his mum when in reality he'd have been put in care. Others would be how Gates wasn't fired /suspended as soon as they knew his involvement with the murdered woman which he had previously denied.
@@neonatalpenguin tommy didn't become a rat, as dot says in this scene the police thought the drug dealers that got killed by the ocg were terrorists, so all tommy had to do for immunity was tell the police about them

The chief of police believed the drug dealers that were killed were terrorists.
Tommy collaborated with him to catch the rest of the "terrorists" in exchange of inmunity.
@@sulkeyadragon7129 was the purpose of collaborating with him to make him look better on his part because he wouldve "single-handedly" caught the rest of the "terrorists"?
@@david.l8698 essentially he’d be able to acquire immunity without actually ratting out the truth, but he was a liability in the end
