I'm not gonna lie, this movie made me cry. I watched it because I was bored one day and had really low expectations for it, now it is one of my favourite movies of all time.

I feel like these types of movies often don’t get the promotional attention they actually deserve. As stated, funny for all, got teachable moments but doesn’t feel forced, and a lil nudge or reminder to those that needed (ehhm - clear throat noise - mostly adults, some kids) things don’t always go the way we planned but it may just be the way we needed....
No one is perfect and the perfect friendship is usually pretty messy but that’s part of what makes it so great. Think about it: often some or even most of the best childhood memories are messy. Finger Painting, making mud pies and sand castles, food fights....
The trouble with trouble is it starts out as fun!

Was this movie meant to be a commentary on social media? Because a lot of kid's toys that have online features have been used to spy on children. So this is kind of a timely warning.
Dang so people are smart enough to give the robots near sentience but were stupid not to just take Ron's hard drive and give it to a robot again to bring him back after he faded away? Or since he sent out his code, just copy it back into another robot and boom, Ron's now back.
