I know why Kate turns down the job with the DIA, but why does she join the FBI? Maybe she wants to be able to help protect Lucy? I applaud her choice. She is really phenomenal at getting info out of reluctant suspects when no one else can and also seems to be really good at digging up info on criminals.

Kate just killed someone and it was so blasé, this was someone who earlier in the season had to learn a battle cry when fighting. Sure she was protecting the lovely Lucy but it should have affected her somewhat.
@@jfinny3184 Thanks, that was disturbing me as well when I watched the scene. Felt quite wrong...even if she had done that a few times before it should still have some effect on a person, otherwise it's definitely concerning.

She is not a great fighter but she can shoot very well. Not all cops are great fighters but all can shoot
