Never seen a thread cleaner like that. I'm jealous. I always just use the wire wheel and hope for the best. Always learning something new on RUclips University. Thanks
"Adapt and overcome". Nice work getting all that together. That's right. Then add the time it takes to film something and that all day job just got longer.
Yes "rarely give up" I dont say "never" anymore because there is a time and place for the professional...such as my AC system lol. I hope your travels are safe and looking forward for an update video. Hope your oil leak is solved by the distributor gasket!
First thing I would do is get some flag nuts straps. Then go to your local Ace Hardware and get grade 8 bolts to fit those threads www.amazon.com/Crown-Automotive-52001174K-Tank-Reinforcement/dp/B00BYNWWWG/ref=asc_df_B00BYNWWWG/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693372513071&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=3986312411975512785&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9025329&hvtargid=pla-570528644313&psc=1&mcid=5ce66dce1de83c85a6e7cd705aca442b&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwl4yyBhAgEiwADSEjeCr4cyDVGJTdS7wV-Sc3WH8oYitnj72iuSTssWnwWZa4jlV2DqPMdBoCriMQAvD_BwE
M12 40mm in length with a 1.75 thread pitch and have an 18mm hex head grade 10.9...If memory serves me well. If you need the flag nuts here u go thejeephut.com/rear-nut-strip-set-for-1984-2001-xj-cherokee-incl-1-left-and-1-right-nut-strip/
Yeah, bumpers with hitch built in is the way to go on these XJs, this will do for my little utility trailer but might come off in the future. Thanks for watching!
You need to add a ball mount to protect your rear bumper. You could add that bump step, it will protect the bumper and provide access to your roof rack. You need a snap-on dead blow ball peen. CP wanted to follow a tool truck to its next stop last week, but we didn’t have any money.
Sir I just bought a cheap Jeep XJ too it’s year of 2000 and I live in Florida too but I don’t know where to start it has a lots of leaks and rust so I was just wondering if I can reach you anyhow and you can help me with it.. Nice video, going to try on my 2024 Chevy Trax RS1...
Best of luck!
Excellent job.
That paint job rocks.
Just do a couple of more paint coats to make sure it doesn't rust up😂
Rust is a killer for sure!
Definitely not the worst idea for when you’re pulling something heavy behind you

Great video, I hate those universal hitches.
