- Cream Cheese? Follow this recipe and save big bucks right at home
This is a perfect way to use up old milk or milk that's just gone past the expiry date. ratyher than tossing it or pouring down the drain, the milk is perfect for some home made cream cheese recipe. Once it's cheesed, it's good for weeks.
I use the cheese in pasta, on toast and sandwiches. Best part about it is you can add additional flavours like garlic to turn it into gourmet delicacy. Give it a try. I promise you won't be disappointed.

The production value of this tutorial is really good. Really sucks that it doesn't have as many views as it deserves. Keep it up 🙂
You’ve just made my week/month/year. Appreciate the kind words and there will be more of these videos coming your way :)
@@SamsHomeKitchen no worries guy. Looking forward to them 😊
I wish i had this man as my husband. I would have had peace in my life in every aspect
He has the privilege of only showing you the good side of him. Every one has an ugly side they don't show
😅😂😅😂 me too

It's like playing Russian roulette, sometimes they'll go over, sometimes they'll come short lol
I subbed a few videos ago, yt suggested as I learning about making tofu. . .
You are super underrated, I hope the YT AI boosts you soon, everything about your videos is great; editing, multiple camera, scripting, delivery and break down of every action as well as measurements and relative cost. On top of it all, it's done with a welcome vibe and a mindfulness of the larger picture. Keep doing you bc it's aces. cheers from South Carolina
Thank you so much for the kind words. It means a lot to me! Just trying to do my bit spreading awareness and positivities that I believe in. Glad you find something that’s of value in my videos❤️
dried tomatoes work well too- and as for the cost, if you are going to break it down this way, you need to add the gas to warm the milk .... and i will stop at that ~ nicely done~
Amazing! No more wasted milk in my house. Thank you for a great video!!🥰
Great tutorial, thank you. Questions: 1) how long does the homemade cream cheese last and 2) how do you recommend using the nutritious whey?
I just made your cream cheese, it’s delicious . Thank you!
I made this cream cheese today the result "AMAZING! thank you for sharing this method how to make a cream cheese from expired milk🙏🙏🙏🌹🙌

@@SamsHomeKitchen will be mine too now! far more cost effective!
Thanks so much - I will try this today!
I just collect the chunks in a jar and sniff it when i'm board.
I have expired a month ago can i do this???it works or not
Thanks for this one Sam! I'm going to give it a try, do you think the cheese could be used for desserts or more just for savory?
The flavour is quite neutral imo. Really just comes how you use it Charlie!
@@SamsHomeKitchen Thanks ! ill have to give it a go 🤩
Best video for using expired milk I've seen yet!
Now, what do I do with the whey?
It can be a good base for stock. Adds a good depth of flavour.
@Sam's Home Kitchen this a new one for me maybe could do a 2 part make cheese, then show ideas to use whey ?? Just idea
Whey can be used for making bread. It's a source of great nutrients. It can also be fed to pigs and other farm animals.
hahaha sharp clean cuts make jake happy. definitely gonna give this recipe a try looks tasty ive made many cheeses before but never a cream cheese. i just started a sourdough starter today and in a week when its ready ill have to make some cream cheese to go with a fresh loaf.
I had to call you out lol. Yeah dude. It’s super easy to do. Chuck it in the food processor and comes out creamy AF
@@SamsHomeKitchen my body is ready
Is cream cheese freezable?
the milk i have is 2 days past the bbd but it already has curldes, is this bad to use or would it still work fine?
Mine too?
Yummm! Super creative, I love it! 😁
That's exactly it! Sometimes just need to think outside the box to make things work:) There's lots we can learn from our ancestors and cheese is just a classic example!
Can I use a blender instead of food processor I don’t have one? 😢
Wandering how you make panner cheese think process is same ???
Yeah paneer is pretty much a pressed/more dehydrated form of the milk solids
@Sam's Home Kitchen bought some through a overstock produce company in US. Liked it kept thinking was similar but dont know enough. Panner, Ricardo,Cottage cheese, i belive are same process, havent made yet though.
Can you use half and half?
Bro that roll needs some meat 😂
Sooooo... have old milk thats separated lol... is that safe? It's about 3 weeks old, eek!🤦♀️
Awesome stuff
Good job I am impressed
🤜🤛
Love your video man thank you :)
That's so nice! Thank you
I don’t think this video is for spoiled milk because his milk was fine. But ????
any tips for people without a food processor or blender? Would a potato masher achieve similar results or do you need to process it?
I don' thtink a masher would do the same. It need some stronger force to homogenise it
I've seen some people say a whisk on a stand mixer might do. I might try that instead.@@SamsHomeKitchen
How about an inversion blender?
Love this video. Was it whole mile or 2%?
I used whole milk. I've not touched skim milk since I left my cafe days behind.
Not only Avoiding landfill ,like this guy!....just as important no smelly blocked drains...
Rubbish bin so famous wish there more souls like Sam.by the way paneer used in Indian cooking is very similar. im Gona experiment by not softening...
Jay new zealand 🇳🇿
Keep it up sam
Mmm delicious cream cheese
awesome way to use up old milk too!
Alright this is awesome
❤❤❤
❤ ❤ ❤
“BBC” new word 👍
Glad you only took it at face value lol
You didn't factor in gas for cooking 😅, that should be 1dollar on it's own. But good thing I'm in a bills-included house, so I can do it without worrying.
