    My mate (hs agri on RUclips) runs a 6480 and loves her to bits. He had a 3500 gallon tanker on the back when I popped to see him. there definitely a comfy tractor and some grunt to them. I’m just sorting kit out at the mo… some stuff going and a bit coming hopefully

    Great video, as someone who watches from London it was nice to see the outskirts of Tralee, some of those roads didn’t exist when I came on holidays with my mother and father. They are both from Lyracrompane.

    • @mrcvx
      @mrcvx  2 года назад

      Interesting are you farming?
      Our neighbours are from lyre we do some work out there but not much as you can imagine there isn't must intensive farming there.
      Often think when we are out there that all the youth must have left

      @@mrcvx My uncle was a dairy farmer, only 30 or so cows. I loved going on holiday there and helping. When I left school I actually lived there for a year. It was the only work I ever enjoyed. Unfortunately you’re right. Not many farmers around there now, a few dry cattle and a lot of land sold to forestry.

    If you tighten up the tie rods going to hitch she will lift up the hitch on the switch at arm rest
    There is a way of having to gear settings on them too

    • @mrcvx
      @mrcvx  2 года назад +2

      Yes and then someone uses the back button and pulls the hitch rods off her 😂😂

    You can definitely set them to drop to a take off gear when you come to a stop. I used to drive a 6480 and se always used to drop to 3a when you stopped

    • @mrcvx
      @mrcvx  2 года назад +2

      You can but as I said in the video the gearing is all wrong you'd want it to drop to different gears when empty and full

    You can set the 6480 to drop to gear u choose suitable for what job your doing, lift is a good job as it doesn’t let u have the arms pumping all day, great comfy tractor and piles of power

      I know of a guy,that used to tell the Contractor,just as they started the first job for him,"I'll pay you NEXT YEAR". Any time from Easter up to the first silage job of the following year, he'd pay them,for last year's work.😅😂🤣👏👍

    Your comparing a Vario gearbox against a Powershift. Totally different. Set what gear you want to take off. Clutch it and it will take off in that every time.

    • @mrcvx
      @mrcvx  2 года назад +2

      I'm comparing it to a range command

    • @johnnutley9621
      @johnnutley9621 2 года назад +2

      There is speed match in it if set up right. If you r rolling press the clutch and it will match up 3D 3E etc.
