I see you have opened up the freezer v's shelflife debate, when I make my own boilies I generally buy my liquid eggs with potassium sorbate in that's the preservative. I have never had any change in my catch rate on either fresh or shelflife, but some will swear blind you catch more on fresh.

I’ve been using shelf life’s for years with no problem. DNA’s SLK are nice and soft as well. It’s a myth about freezer baits but if some think they’ve got an edge by using them then I’m happy to let them carry on. Pretty sure they’ll go sooner or later or you’ll have to pay a premium for them. There’s a thought Mainline ??

DNA and now Mainline have vastly improved the shelf life boilie. If only others could follow suit then they would not still be banned on a lot of waters.

@@mandismith89 Quite a lot of fisheries ban shelflife boilies. I was not on about the brand, just the difference between shelflife and freezer baits.

Don’t know where you got that from mate. I’m a member on two Embryo syndicates and the only bait bans are no nuts,maggots,worms and casters. Check your facts before you write rubbish.
