In the Midwest we studied what we stood on. A set from Cali. Although we represented a branch out of Cali we always had a black panther mentality in our neighborhood. Our focus wasn't so much to go looking for trouble. Our focus was protecting the women, children and elders of the community under a blue flag. If anyone threatened any one of those things we made it be known that they'd be stopped immediately. So just to be clear, not all sets are as negative as people may think. We learned from your teachings and knew early on to be more understanding with other sets. We could sit down with a rival set and come to a solution real quick.

According to the story as it's told by A.C. the crips were at least 100 deep on Piru st. I'm assuming this young brother named "sockeye" carried the spear just in case they all rushed him but truly wanted a head up fight with Raymond.

Each person that comes on and speaks their recollection of history always has someone else saying they don't remember it like that. Some people make their history more than it was. Don Dirk stated the truth, there is no leadership and it didn't used to be that way, too many people want to do whatever they want to do and not follow the rules set by the leaders.
