He was employed at DVC Durgapur and had written in his diary about how Union Bazi, Hooliganism, Mass Robberies of Industrial equipments, Murd*rs, Hafta wasooli, Curroption and Failure of Police investigation ultimately lead to shutdown of many Industries.

Siliguri is one of the most fastest developing cities... Kya bakwaas kar rahe hain sir!
The city is about to get the first Outer Ring Road in Bengal, also to get Metro and Local train services (like Mumbai, Kolkata) soon. 14km elevated corridor is already on the cards. Lots and lots of work to be done, true, but Siliguri is a truly progressive city in this part of the country. People here are business minded. You get plethora of apartments/flats at 1Cr, 2Cr... show another city in Bengal (or the entire east India) with so much potential!

As a bengali ,pls read my comment:
West Bengal has only 2 "major" cities, Siliguri(BJP, north bengal) and Kolkata(TMC, south bengal).
South Bengal is completely dominated by "vote bank politics" and the govt is doing a lot of development in south Bengal (still lower than other states) where as the north bengal's big city siliguri is degrading at a faster rate ,no road maintenance no improvement no new facilities.This is not due to BJP but current state govt never developed north Bengal.North Bengal has Nepali as well as Hindu Bengali as majority and hence are liberal but this 500km distance between Kolkata and Siliguri has resulted in people of North Bengal wanting separate staye especially in district of Darjeeling which was granted autonomy as "gorkhaland TA" .TMC govt give 1000rs.(SC/ST 1200) per month to ladies which has polarized the people of west bengal towards them .But imagine how much money is required to give out 1000 to a few million women, more than a billion rupees per month and this resulted in decrease in salary of state govt employees(DA case) unemployment(SSC case) ,Mass wealth robbery(Sarada and Narada case) ,Coal smuggling (Case) ,Cow smuggling(Case) , illegal job giving(Expulsion of 20k+ employees by high court),Sandeshkhali case etc . And Kolkatas economy is degrading by a lot and is at a stand point where it can barely run regions in proximity to Kolkata and resulted in near zero development of other parts of west bengal.
This is story of a state whose capital was the capital of India Pakistan, Myanmar and Bangladesh back in the days.....

Very recently significant government jobs were sold by TMC ( almost 26000 teacher is fired by Calcutta High Court)and earned huge amount of cash Obviously, as a last option she is trying to gain sympathy of Bengal voter.voters are get fooled by Laxmi Bnhadar And many other Bhata. She ensured that corruption hit record high, syndicate, illegal construction, Communal violence and unemployment, crossed the border from Bangladesh, and also got voter cards and many more skyrocketed forcing all Bengalis to look for livelihood elsewhere and all industrialists fled the state. The list is huge.

Being a person from Bengal I can say the real dictatorship is ruling by Mamata Banarjee. There are no other option for the people of Bengal to vote. In city areas there maybe no hazards in voting but in rural areas there are people who forcefully take votes and that's real story I live in town but maximum of my relatives are from rural areas they often tell whenever vote starts some people forcefully take votes and that's dictatorship. 🙃 Also majority of the people in Bengal is uneducated in rural areas she starts scheme which ultimately increases debts on Bengal. The poor people in remote villages do not have to starve to death today. A place here, Keshpur which was one of the areas of political violence in all of India, is now much calmer. West Bengal has seen a lot of development in the last 15 years.Female education rates have increased and child marriage rates have also decreased.Instead of doing such a short survey, do a little detailed survey in West Bengal. I have seen the downfall of Jute Mills with my own eyes. More than 50 mills in my life upto this point have shutdown and the healthy amount of workers who used to work and were seen quite often has just completely vanished. The Jute Mills are now just dump yards and perfect hotspots for thieves to scrap and sell the metal from those places and get money.
