      And I've made another dozen or so not shown here that I've given away to friends and family. That sphering machine is getting a real workout!

      If you look carefully, you'll see your name on the Beryl. You collected some of the Triphylite as well. Thanks, couldn't do it without you!

    That's what I think all these little baby spheres are. Marbles.

      Many modern art marbles are 40 mm diameter, the size I target for my stone spheres.

    which one is your favorite?

      It's a toss-up between the black matrix porphyry from Lisbon (Mt. Eustis Quarry), and the banded feldspar from Groton (Palermo Mine). Both are from rocks I collected myself on PGMS field trips.
