The skin tone of the alpha reminds me of the underside of a frog, pale white with a pinkish ,purplish color. Just an amazing figure, Neca never ceases to amaze me. Always moving forward, perfecting their figures. All Hail the Mighty Neca!!!!!!!
The point of it WAS the mask. They where tasked to try to figure out a way to work the old costume into something cool. So without the mask and the throwback you wouldn’t have this figure. I love that they took that gross horrible looking concept and turned it into a cool by having it an ancient mask they used to wear.
He was a warrior enslaved to fight who led a rebellion against his masters? So he's basically a Yautja Spartacus? I'm really pleasantly surprised by the articulation on this guy and the size comparisons on predators always make me laugh because they're just so damn huge! Great job on this video, thank you DD19, I learned all I needed to know and was entertained!
Actually not only the bio mask but the chest armor is also a tribute almost exact match. With that being said he wouldn't look the same at all if they didn't do the bio mask . So all in all I'm extremely happy to have this awesome piece
the mask is based on the design of the original Predator that was played by Jean-Claude Van Damme not original bio mask that bio mask ended up being on one of the Lost Tribe Predators in P2.
Was having trouble finding a clan leader for the bone throne but I think this guy is a worthy candidate. He suits the throne a lot more. By the way cool review👍
They did the bio helmet like that because that is the creature (original pred design ) that alpha hunted and alpha designed his mask after that creature. I like it. I also love the removable mask. I hate switching heads
So this figure was supposed to be out in Target's yesterday on the 16th. I was all excited heading up to my local store, but nothing. And knowing it probably would've been a waste of time to ask an employee. Most of the time they just tell me a NECA vendor puts the stuff out, they have nothing to do with it. Knowing they could go into the storeroom and check. So now I feel like I have to kinda stop by every other day until I find one lol.

Articulation 10-10, accesories 10-10, backstory 1000-10, paint 10-10. Even when your amazing video is on hd , the figure is better when you have it in front of your eyes 😨😨😨.pd : you can put the mask in the left hand gauntlet , pressing it in the right position and then you have a gauntlet with blade and SHIELD.

Yeah the mask is ment too be organic looking based on the prototype but they went for the more tech type pred making it much more advanced and more of a totally different challenge for Arnold and the team ... This is more a born from the jungle type which would ov been crap for the film . Anyway it's really cool sorry dope

And you can put the black blades on his back as decoration they make him look much wider and a berserk type look both can go one on each side
