i've been liking No rest for the weary a lot, restores hikari hp and lets him act again at end of the turn. Everytime he's not fully boosted or low hp u can use this to delay his action and give other travellers turns to boost hikari's bp to fully charge at end of turn
also, new tech: beastly and dragon scarf, and any effect that gives HP/SP after every action becomes double if u use no rest + another skill in the same turn. free hp
also to note the judge where u can learn sentencing gavel drops :blessed vessements which is good for mages, drop rate is pretty generous maybe like 10-15%
@@Ecliptor. Yeah, probably. Leaf Toss also falls off later because later Caits can survive even if you spend more money. Although looking at their stats it might just be Chubby Caits Leaf Toss won't one shot.
Unless you have more Leaves/gold then you know what to do with Leaf toss isn't worth it in other games IE FF6 it sucks and won't even do 9999 damage even with over 1 million gil owned and in FF5 not every enemy takes damage from Gil Toss either. In this one I'd rather save it for equipment/Merchant skills only.

@@Zelendes He basically said that it takes up way to much SP while "Last Gasp" can give you the same results when it only takes 15 to 30 SP. I'll eventually test both these skills out in time. I'm sure he was kidding about the unsubscribe thing, but it was still kinda funny lol.
How did you get so much SP for your Hikari? Mine is level 50 but only has like 80 SP. I gave him the +80 SP accessory so I have 160, but you have almost twice that. Did you load him up on SP accessories for the purpose of the video?

In the long run it’s gonna be fang of ferocity. Champions belt is good if your not capped yet. Once your almost capped on strength you can switch to fang.
Regarding Merciless blade, I have a quesion. How is your damage 111 with 2 BP used? Is something increasing skill damage? I'm copying your 2 BP used with merciless blade and I only hit for 70 damage consistently, not enough for a kill. I'm wondering if there's something else increasing your damage that I dont have. Granted, I'm still in the 40s without clearing everything, but I assumed merciless blade was static damage.

Finishers claw you can get it after you buy the ship for 100k leaves, then travel up north a little bit and you'll see Nameless island thingy and kill the boss and you'll get it from the treasure

Never considered Merciless Blade. I've been using Leaf Toss to kill Caits. 500 leaves seems like a fair trade lol

Elemental barrage always hits the caits and octopuffs as well, maybe scholar agnea does enough dmg to turn 0 them

Sentencing Gravel is an aoe 3 hits, quite powerful. If combined with spiritlord staff, you get your sp back. Perfect for exp farming.

If merciless blade always deal 3000 damage, why do you need to BP charge it up to destroy em Octopuffs/Caits? Won't it just do the job at no BP?
Charging adds damage up to 9999
