Wells Town Walk During Summer Holidays

A little town in Somerset, not far from Bath or Bristol showed us beautiful streets, the 850 years old cathedral with the oldest intact medieval street in Europe, which makes this place unique.
You can also visit The Bishop's Palace and Gardens, which we did not, as we were hungry and we wanted peacefull holidays ( = everybody happy ). So hopefully next time.
The little restaurant was lovely, food tasty, toilets clean and we happy.
The only negative point was the box next to the map of Wells. I like paper maps and as a tourist, I was disappointed, when I spent £1 for nothing as the box was probably empty. It did not give me my £1 back. I learnt my lesson anyway.
Apart of this, we had a good time at this interesting place.
