This video made me subscribe. Thank you, great video. And I love Hard to Say I'm Sorry. Been learning the last three years and decided I would learn this song last month.
Damn Bruh I've been so comfortable with the finger picking repertoire I have, not knowing there's so much more finger picking techniques to explore. Can't wait to learn this and impress the girls😎
I think you need to clarify which strings the fingers are playing. Thumb plays/varies with the base, but index stays with the G string, middle with the B & ring with the high e.
Ok it was hard to see but when the thumb moves up to the lower bass note do the other 3 fingers move up as well or do they still play the same 3 strings regardless of what the thumb does? Advice would be much appreciated. Amazing video lesson btw I subscribed instantly I like your style of teaching.
Hey Kyle, I’ve developed a hybrid finger style / strum technique similar to Ed. I never use a pick even though I’m told I should. Could you help break down his style? Especially the upbeat songs he does live? Thanks
Been playing over 40 years and I’m learning more from this young guy than ever. Great tutorials and cracking attitude.

I'm getting ready to buy a Yamaha F3, one of the guitars used at Woodstock. Eager to try this technique on it 🎶
Good lesson!

Are you referring to Ed Sheeran?
Thumb, Index, Ring, Middle
Hello sir I am your fan and I request to you from my hard can you gave way of your guiters
That song Hard to say I’m sorry is a difficult one.
I sadly only learned using two fingers, I wish I would have started out learning all four or five. Maybe not to late.
Never too late! You’ll be slow at first, but well worth it in the long run
Thanks for watching 🙏
