Tekken 4 came out in 2001 and it still looks so damn badass amazing!!
2001 is timeless.
Damn, I didn't play Tekken 4 but those stages look much more interesting than Tekken 7. They do look like they could possibly create bugs and balance issues but I hope we get more like this in Tekken 8 where now programming is better and bugs occur less.
@@georgegkoumas5026 Uneven stages mess with frame data, reach, ect which is why they haven't been back.
This is upscaled massively through emulation, It does look insane though.

I still love the old jin with the mishima fighting style, its my favourite character ever in all of fighting games. (devil jin is not the same) Karate Jin is fun too.

Everytime i see Jin's ending in T4 at the part of the last white feather falling, suddenly T5 opening music starts to resonate in my brain
IMHO, the only downside for me was the difficulty in crouching because of the implementation of side walking. Nevertheless, Tekken 4 was way ahead of its time in terms of story and aesthetics.

Tekken 4 story was so good with Kazuya and Jin and my god the ost inner shrine of honmaru was so cold and clean for me its top 3 with ground zero funk and moonlit wilderness. I hope in tekken 8 they will redeem Kazuya for being a comedy villain in t7.

I can see why wall combo was nerfed down starting T5.
In some ways yes, but wall combos were still pretty ridiculous in tekken 5

Actually, wall combos got buffed after T4. The combos in this video are only possible cos of the "boost" hack. You barely got wall combos in T4 since you had the ability to do wall techs.
@@nginroom8108 well you could do a wall tech if your character hit the wall with its back. If your character hit the wall from the sides or the front, then you couldn't tech roll and that's how people used to do infinite combos at the walls in Tekken 4
@@tcbbctagain572 of course, I'm very aware of that. That's why throughout the video the player made sure the CPU hit the wall from the side. Just pointing out wall combos were no where close to what you see here in the actual. It seems some aren't aware this is a TAS video

Shades of his gameplay in Tekken 6 story. The last time you fight Jin in the story mode. The stress, tension, and anxiety that welled up inside me, I can never forget.

@@mainaHighway 저도 일본판을 구매한다고 하면 어떻게든 할수야 있겠지만 4편부터는 한글화의 메리트가 더 크기때문에 굳이 부스트모드 하나때문에 일본판을 구매하기는 좀 망설여지긴 합니다 ;
철권 4는 특히 국가별로 화랑, 스티브, 머덕, 리 차오랑 목소리가 다릅니다 😃 화랑은 일본을 제외한 나라에 한국어로 나오던데, 그외 캐릭터들은 한국, 일본 제외하면 다른 성우로 녹음되어 있는 걸 들을 수 있어요 ㅎ

Because you can't tas PS3 games ATM. Technically you can If You run the emulator with libTAS on Linux but even then idk how that will go. If they did a tas of Tekken 6 then the ideas are endless same with Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Maybe one day.
@@alexcole9 You can emulate the PSP version of Tekken 6, people have been doing that for a pretty long time. It’s not perfect but it’ll get the job done.
