your mac mini must be turning off at the time of power drop. isn't it? Or tell the scenario of what happens whenever power goes off.

Brother, use your ssd in the rear Thunderbolt ports, the 2 ports on the front are just basic type c and not Thunderbolt ones.

Yes you are correct and in Canada, Apple also have a return policy according to which if you return the product even by mentioning you did not like the colour of the product they will still take it back and refund the money, but within 15 days.
