I have the 2016 SE in 2024, it is still working fine with 80% capacity of it's original 8 year old battery. I am only replacing it now because of the accidentally broke display.
I remember using this as my daily driver back in 2023. It was my only phone at the time, which I used for messaging and calling. Although, it was painfully slow and got super hot whenever I used it, mine had a surprisingly long idle battery, that it lasted almost a week when it got confiscated because I was... well, texting in class. I really loved the hardware, as well as the features, like iMessage, a few social media apps that could be installed, and watching RUclips while I was in the bus. Nevertheless, I carried on, using a phone like this for the whole year.

I have one but its not working :( today my grandfather took it to a popular repair shop and they said that they will send it to apple and identify the issue, if its fixable they will fix it.
@@SahilChanne-xb2dqSE 2016. Surprisingly, the camera was perfectly good, compact and easy to bring, receives iOS 15, smooth no major lag. Only the issue was the battery life was really unsatisfied 😅 overall it’s a good phone. 😊
