i played this at an open mic night this week... it's not a well known song, so i had to answer every "did you write that?" with a disappointing "no, i wish." great song.
this is the first dashboard song i ever heard and it is my all time favourite. it's so simple & everyone can relate to it. chris has the most amazing vocals i have ever heard. he is amazing live too! i wish he would do more songs like this now!
why is this guy so underrated? i think he deserves it more than any other big artist thats out there.. to me, no other artist has anything on this guy. much respect Chris..

It's quite sad that people clump bands into categories and dislike their music because they are of 'this genre' and (usually) for no other reason. I love this song. :) Dashboard Confessional has some good songs. This one's really soothing.

The studio version is easier to strum while singing...for me, it's the pitch. Chris has got one of the largest ranges of any guy I've heard in all my years of playing music. I respect these guys so much....this is such an extremely beautiful, emotionally wrought song.
He re-recorded Screaming Infidelities and Again I Go Unnoticed from The Swiss Army Romance fullband for The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most album Then they also re-recorded Living In Your Letters, The Sharp Hint Of New Tears, Turpentine Chaser, and Ender Will Save Us All from The Swiss Army Romance fullband for the Summer's Kiss EP... The songs from the So Impossible EP have no been re-recorded other than Hands Down. They do play all 4 songs fullband when they play live though.
i remember when i made fun a female friend for liking dashboard, but that was freshman year. now that i actually listen to good music they are one of my all time favorite bands
