I have listened to this song and watched reactions all month. My person I have to be strong for is my grandma's family. My grandma passed away the end of November. So, instead of focusing on my pain and past, I'm using all my strength for my family
I fight to stay here for my parents, daughter, and granddaughters are the main ones. My son fought for years with depression and suicidal thoughts and he stayed here for me I was his rock to stay here he told others. I never knew how he felt but now I do because my son was found murdered March 16,2020. He fought those suicidal thoughts for me. Now I have depression, anxiety, PTSD, panic and anxiety attacks so I know what he was feeling but with more issues.I admit that I thought about taking my life and I do on a regular basis but I fight to stay here especially for my parents cause I don't want them to know what's it's like to bury your child. I get help for dealing with the thoughts I have a counselor and a psychiatrist that I get help from for over 3 yrs now. The trauma I went thru from losing him has caused me mental issues. I heard the 4 shots that took his life and didn't even know it was my son being murdered the night of the 15th because he lived 25 minutes away from me. He was driven to the location that's less than a mile from where I live yes it was all premeditated then his ex GF and her new BF ambushed him and took his life execution style. So yes get help don't put someone thru the pain I'm going thru that's why I'm always fighting my suicidal thoughts.
This song hit really close to home for me becuase I feel like it describes boyh me and my Mother. On one side I have had ongoing issues with depressions and suicidal thoughts but the main thing that has aleays helped hold me back is the thought of how I don’t want my Mom yo have to deal with that aftermath. As the song put it I don’t want her having to live on with my ghost. Meanwhile on the opposite end I know there are so many times she has been strong for me. She has admitted that as much as she’d like to she doesn’t understand what I am going through since she’s never been through it so a lot of the time she just does her best to keep moving forward herself to try to just do what she can for me as I work through my issues but by bit. In the end both of us are being strong for each other.
So glad both of you have each other. It's important to have each other for something like that. God has blessed both of you with the other to keep you strong. So happy you're still here. Much love to ya.
this song reminds me of mothers and how strong they are they could be going through some really tough shit but they will just bury everything cause they know they have to be strog for their children or if you have a significant other who is really depressed but you are to but you just bury everything cause you dont want them to be anymore depressed then they already are this song hits really hard for me and if anyone know what functional neurological disorder is you would understand
