I appreciate the talk about going up against Cale as a protege. However, how many head coaches are out there now that go up against John smith. You make it work and John still talks trash to them when they go up against each other but he still says nothing but great things about them after the match

I get that Carter is driving attention and that's good - not sure payday is really enough to drive DT, though. Even throughout High School it's challenges and competition that have pushed DT - remember even in High School when he bumped up to wrestled Collin Palmer. He relishes the challenge.
I get what you’re saying but David is a grown man with wife and kids that he needs to provide for. The opportunity to basically secure your children’s future I think would be very high on his list. Especially he is done competing and I’d assume endorsements slow way down and okie state has to be a very high paying job while still doing something you love and are passionate about
CP always saying how DT has an "entrepreneurial" mind, and has a lot of business interests already. He's probably a millionaire already, and did it for reasons more important to him than pure money.
@@Vincentovich89 kinda what I was saying - I don't believe $$ was a top factor - at least not personal salary - I'm sure he wants to have enough $$ to have a competitive program - assistants, facilities, medical, etc.

Y’all got to remember David didn’t make Cael. Cael refined David…problem is OSU got great wrestlers to lead their team who is a part of Cael this is a form of pride with Cael most likely. Eventually there will be a lot of his wrestlers as head coaches…just breath and relax this is great for the sport. I know tons of kids that go to M2 that’s the biggest problem with this…who is going to carry on this part
